@jeanne-mayell When do you see COVID no longer a concern in the US? I feel it would be Spring of next year the earliest, which correlates to Biden getting inaugurated.
I believe Barr is quite ill, not sure it’s covid but he is dealing with something.
At some point we need to purify the Whitehouse and balance the rose garden. Weird this year has had two rose garden horrors.
It was along those lines, but I thought the headline said Giuliani blurted out on air that Barr was positive.
He’s leaving hospital at 6:30 pm “feeling better than I have in 20 years”.
That’s the steroids talking. Nevertheless, he’s going home.
Please excuse my French but Im livid. This [removed] joke excuse for a POTUS just tweeted "don't be afraid of the coronavirus" and that he "feels 20 years younger." Its an obvious lie but what [removed] is he doing? I live in Wisconsin, which is by far the worst in the country right now and getting worse by the minute. Evers has a mask mandate that half the people and all of law enforcement ignore. I have twin 2 year old foster boys with respiratory, as well as other, issues and a wife and daughter that I'm doing my damnedest to keep safe and this stupid [removed] goes and fuels the jackasses up here to keep refusing to wear masks. I cant even take the kids for a walk around my neighborhood without seeing half a dozen drinking parties and the park across the street is off limits because 50 kids and coaches are having maskless football practice daily. This [removed] waste of skin is endangering my family and others more than ever. [removed] These imbecile cultists of his need to see what covid really does and the only way they will ever learn is all get it themselves(which ignites more spread and hurts innocent people) or by watching his pompous ass suffer the full consequences of covid. [removed]
If I offended anyone I apologize but I needed to get that out for my own sanity.
.....
With Pence or Haley running instead of Trump, you won't have all the WH led anarchy you would with DT so that is a positive. Also, the presidency is not the most important race. The house and senate races, especially without Trump, are most important, as you go back to having a true check on the presidency that can be used without fear of civil war or mass bloodshed that you would with Trump.
It's true... nobody drives the mania quite like He Who Shall Not Be Named. I was talking to my very fervid follower mother (who is quite upset about his diagnosis, BTW). She mentioned that my even more fervid follower aunt is even more upset about his COVID diagnosis than the very concerning and could be cancer health issues that my uncle has been having recently.
It's bananas.
But I wanted to say that as important as the presidential, House and Senate races are, don't forget the local and state races. I was talking to a close friend of mind who is a data scientist. He said that some of his prominent data science colleagues have been running analyses on the various races, and according to them, the best "bang for your buck" value in political contributions are the state legislature races. Specifically, they point to Texas' state legislature.
The reason is the budgets for those races are low (less than mid-five figures vs. millions), and they control the re-districting, among other things.
So even if your contribution (or volunteering for that matter) is small, it can still make a big difference!
.@JDiamond1: “I was told by a source close to the White House that as recently as this morning, the President’s advisors were telling him to stay in the hospital.”
This will not work out well for him.
In other news, Eric T is testifying today. T must also be flipping out about that.
Insanity reigns.
