@allyn I read your post to @cindy in what I believe was the spirit in which it was intended, which was as you described, "it's natural and human to feel what you're feeling about this, and no, you shouldn't feel bad about it".
@cindy, given all that you have suffered, I can absolutely understand why you might have misunderstood what @allyn wrote. When pain is still that close to the surface, even the softest and most gentle materials can cause irritation, and that pain can cloud one's vision..
I hope that you can both reconcile this between you.
As for BLM and everything else, of course people were upset about both the looting and the situation that instigated it. There is good reason to be upset about both, but while one cannot separate the effects from the cause, one can definitely separate the actors from the actions. Many of those looting were provably not protestors but incendiary agents, and most protesting were provably not looters, but people angry with the situation and the over the top response of law enforcement.
I dont think he specifically lied, but worded his statement to be misleading. Someone from the WH told the press pool that DT was on oxygen at the WH before he left to Reed. The Dr said he wasn't on it Thursday nor was he on it when he was at Reed, omitting the time when he was on it.
He does seem to be feeling better right now, as he is back to tweeting again.
As a follow up to my last post they are now trying to track the 100 or so donors who the clown met with Thursday. Oh my this is surely turning into a $hit show! But as my current favorite bumper sticker says “ if you vote for a clown you have to expect a circus.
@mas1581, he's blessed to be receiving stellar healthcare and the most advanced drug treatments available. Most people who have fallen ill with this disease have not been as fortunate.
With all the crazy Covid symptoms out there, why doesn't that virus affect one's twitter fingers?
@lawrence then someone finally figured out how to get the caps right on his tweets after 3 1/2 years.
@deetoo he is getting top notch care that most don't have access to, but he is also using experimental drug cocktails that have had minimal testing. With his questionable health at best, that can lead to disaster.
It is also funny that HCQ hasn't been used considering he was such a strong proponent of it publically
Those donors are pissed. Theyre all scared they have it, as most are older and they are just finding out Trump knew he had tested positive when he exposed them to it maskless. Out of his whole asinine presidency(and life), that was the absolute stupidest thing he has ever done. He just turned billions in GOP against him.
When I first came to this community, your posts spoke so deeply to me. How you would write about your beautiful daughter and your experiences fighting for changes in the aftermath of such grief and loss. I learned so much from you, from your grace, compassion and love. From your willingness to share all that you had learned with a bunch you had never met, for the greater good.
And then that horrible day in Pittsburg occurred, when the cousin of my dear family friend/ "aunt" was shot and killed at the synagogue while attending services. In my shock and grief for her, you reached out so compassionately to me. This happened the same week a mass shooting occurred in California and left the son of my husband's childhood friend dead and dear friends fleeing for their lives in the same area from wildfire. You even told me what to expect regarding the press and how to navigate through those dark days of loss so that I could share those helpful words with my aunt. Cindy, you swooped down like an angel and filled my spirit with unexpected peace and love and did so with such grace. I will never forgot it.
Thank you for reminding us of the responsibility we have to each other, and the need to be mindful of how our words can both heal or open wounds, raise up or bring down our family members here and in our everyday world.
The compassion you have shown your parents as they battled their mental and physical illnesses, issues covid presented in dealing with their needs, their passion for Trump and abusive nature and your continued strength in helping them. You challenged me to view of my world a bit differently, approach challenging people in a new light (when possible) and gain a fuller understanding about the depths of true love. You showed me about hope and its ability to inspire through the darkest of times. You showed me love has no bounds and that even though a beloved child can be lost, they can be found yet again in a new and unexpected way.
I hope you will feel more comfortable here in the future. I miss your visits and all the beauty they inspire. While I have found this community to be a light in this dark time, you have reminded us all we can be more than what we are currently
Thank you for that reminder.
Thank you for contributing so much to our community recently. I love your enthusiasm and reading your thoughts. I also appreciate your reflective post above clarifying your earlier post and reaching out to one of our dear members. There is much beauty to be found in reaching out to others.
Times are dark and scary. We are all blessed when we can find light to guide us through and forward.
