@lovendures Fox is reporting that he's also receiving remdesivir at Walter Reed. My hunch is that is why they moved him to Walter Reed, as it needs to be administered carefully. It's had some good results reducing the length and severity of Covid-19 (treated patients recover in an average of 11 days instead of 15 with it). But it's not a cure, has potential side effects, and there isn't a statistical difference in survival according to the study on it I read. Here's that study:

@lovendures Did your friend offer an opinion on the odd decision to use this treatment? I think it’s telling that it’s experimental and it’s only in early clinical trials with just 300 people. Seems risky to prescribe something that untested to the leader of the free world unless the doctors were very worried? Melania apparently didn’t receive it, so there is that, too.

@lovendures I think Pence will take over. I am getting the number six which tells me this is probably October 6th (or it could be the time in which it is announced). I am not sure if it is going to be short term or long term.
