Since 45 left WRH, I’ve been having pop ups of him sitting w his arms crossed in his usual immature way and hear “He’s not listening! He won’t take his meds!” Then I see him popping his own pills in secret and believing he can help himself. As if he doesn’t trust any Drs (bc he thinks he’s smarter than them) and bc the meds mean he’s weak.
Like everything else DT, it’s a crap shoot how he goes down. But we all know, as does his inner circle, he’s going down.
And, the more dominant image is seeing Drs in white coats walking away from him in resignation. They’re thinking, “Oh well, we tried.”

@polarberry

Hahaha. I really wasn't bringing up religion as much as giving my interpretation of how I saw him feeling.

As far as religion, since you decided to dive right into it (blame polarberry in 3..2..1..;) I dont talk about it much either because it is as toxic a conversation as politics is these days. I do agree that anyone who isn't an atheist has to be terrified facing mortality in his shoes. I, personally, don't give it much thought but when I was hospitalized with sepsis a few weeks ago, all the bad decisions I made in life did make an appearance in my mind for a minute. I can only imagine how traumatizing that wouldve been if I had been more like him.

With him, it seems like is caught in a Neverending downward spiral. He screwed over and hurt so many people that his only goal in existence is to outrun those skeletons by creating more new ones. I cant begin to imagine how a normal person could ever logically rationalize it and not see karma catching up to them in a landslide.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff are in serious trouble.

The top US general, Gen. Mark Milley, and several members of the Pentagon's senior leadership are quarantining after a top Coast Guard official tested positive for coronavirus, several US defense officials tell CNN.

The Vice Commandant of the US Coast Guard, Adm. Charles Ray, tested positive on Monday.
Ray recently attended several meetings at the Pentagon in secure areas with members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Multiple defense officials tell CNN that senior Pentagon leadership who had been in proximity to Ray have been tested and are awaiting results.

MAS,

I believe evil people get what's coming to them in the end, no matter how much it seems they got away with in life.

I did not realize you had sepsis; I missed that. So glad you're ok. ❤️

I am a longtime reader (lurker) of this site and this thread in particular. I had to join to say THANK YOU to everyone who posts here. You have gotten me through many sleepless nights and nail-chewing days.

I am definitely an empath, and not quite sure what you call it when you get flashes that you just KNOW something is going to happen. It's definitely spirit but I don't see, just hear and/or feel. My mom and I share this gift, which we just refer to as "the universe".

I felt like someone physically stabbed me in the stomach when they called the race in 2016, and since then I have known deep down in my bones that this man (I refer to him only as DJT as in He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named) was going to be the impetus for great positive change in this country. We just had to ride out the horror upon horror upon horror of his administration to get to the other side. I feel enormous positive anticipation of November 3 and the aftermath. I have had multiple vivid dreams of myself watching CNN and seeing Texas and Florida and Ohio turn blue with the race being called fairly early. I really feel that this blue tsunami is going to be like nothing this country has ever seen. We start early voting in my state (MA) next Saturday the 17th and I plan to drive by Town Hall a couple times to see what the turnout is like. My state is reliably blue but I still think it's going to be heavy. I voted early in 2016 because of the novelty of it, and didn't we all think that Hillary winning was a slam dunk? This time I am so nervous of GOP tomfoolery that I have a plan to vote proudly for Biden/Harris and a straight Dem ticket on Election Day with three family members and as many friends and neighbors as we can bring along.

My greatest hope is that DJT just disappears like *poof* and he's gone, although I have to say I would get so much personal pleasure of watching all of the honorable military men he has "dissed" dragging him out of the White House by his shoelaces. I just know that someday soon his last name will no longer mean surpass or victory.

Kiki

So Trump tweeted that he has stopped negotiations on the stimulus package until after the election.

The market immediately went down.

Unbelievable (totally believable)!

They are saying it is like he just threw a grenade into the room.

if for any reason trump is gone/resigns by end of Oct, what do you see happening with the election / blue wave.?.  My fear is the never trumpers, Lincoln project folks , suburban woman, etc will no longer vote for Biden and blue senators down ballot,,,, they will vote for pence or Haley.   This is why I hope trump remains on ballot,,,, we need a blue wave to kick them all out

No, they have all said that no matter what, the whole GOP needs to go because of all of the enabling that has allowed this to happen. No matter what, they are voting Blue. I worry about independents and other conservatives if Haley is in the ticket. That worries me.

Voting was my main thing today. One thing that did bother me on this vote was about the judges. In my state, we had like 5 or 6 judges up for election. I didn't realize just how hard it was to look up about them to decide whether or not I thought they should stay in. With so many inexperienced and unprepared judges being shoved in, I wanted to check each one out completely but so little information on them. Anyway, I voted and the rest of my family voted too. I'm not sure how much difference it will make as my state usually goes red (sigh) but I still wanted to try. I've had my fill of politics through major ones and local ones. We had Trump like mayor here for years and he was finally defeated at the end of last year (although my neighborhood is still literally torn apart from one of his last minute campaign ideas). It was very satisfying when he lost but he still pulled all kinds of tricks until his very last day in office (even shredding and locking up documents that the new mayor couldn't get access to when she won to also doing some jerky moves about keys and bills too).  So I do kind of fear just what will happen between now and end of this term in the white house no matter what..even if Trump loses what mischief he could get up to....

Hey y'all! Thanks for tagging me (remembering I exist!). @Jeanne-Mayell is right on the money: I work in rhythm with publication schedules, and when it gets heavy (as it is now), I spend hours upon hours researching, writing, and editing. That means I run out of time and brain juice for other things, like posting here—among souls I admire, adore, and miss. ?

@draceana

Some of you may recall that I was concerned about Nikki Haley popping her head up in this fiasco quite a while back. A couple of years now or longer. My feeling now is that Jared and Ivanka (maybe others) have worked hard to thwart Haley's ambitions. I don't know whether they've been successful or not, but I'm no longer as concerned about her.

Here's why:

First, if T goes out (he is actually very ill or soon will be, imo) before the election, Pence has zero chance. (They'd be selling snow cones in hell.) He has come across as wallpaper—weak and servile and personality-less—and therefore attracts none of the energy or support of The Base. Besides which, evangelicals aren't enough to push him over the line in this climate.

Nikki Haley has positioned herself very strategically in that regard. She's the only person I can think of to resign from this Administration on good terms besides Hope Hicks. And although she spoke up against T on certain key points of concern, she also threw her "integrity" (lol) out the window and publicly backed him after leaving office.

She's a danger to our country as we know it because she's truly and utterly a regressive traditionalist. Think Pence, but with balls.

Either way they move, however, there isn't enough time to gather momentum and their base of support will be split. Full stop. Most Never Trumpers and Lincoln Project Republicans have already firmly committed—publicly—to support Biden and down ballot Dems. They're unlikely to back Nikki Haley now out of principle. They're furious at the cowardice of their own party and want to dismantle it and start again.

@liln22 Michigan had a bunch up too -- you say you're in a red state -- does that mean no teachers union?  I've experienced the same problem -- finding info on them and the state board of education candidates is next to impossible.  For that I've always taken my MEA (Michigan Education Association) endorsed candidate list in.  (Because, for me, if they're endorsing them they're good for public ed which generally means "not evil") Often if you have a state wide labor union website you can find their endorsed candidate lists online on their website.

Everyone, these last few hours of posts are so fun to read.

@kiki, welcome!  Your post was a breath of fresh air to me today. Thank you for all you said.  Love that we are from the same state. I can hear your way of thinking and expressing yourself as so Mass. familiar to me. :-)

@jessi1978. Loved those stories about record turnout, music to my ears. And it fits the vision I had while lying in bed this morning, of this massive crowd of progressives marching forward, a lively loud excited committed crowd of millions of people marching forward and overwhelming a little GOP merry-go-round machine. Love the 102 year old woman grateful that women have the vote. She was nine years old when women got the vote.

And @vestralux, letting out a welcoming scream of joy to you. So glad you are back. Can't wait to read your book.

Where is @vestralux these days? She posted many many times about Trump getting sick and getting the virus.I found a post yesterday where she wrote specifically that she asked, will he be hospitalized before November, and got a yes. Would love to hear from her and know she is ok.

Hi there @meliaamal ? Yep, though I wasn't 100% sure at the time that it would be Covid.

I've been looking at T's energy field and his astrological transits since the news broke, and it ain't good. I do see him surviving this, at least for a while to come, but I'm doubtful there will be anything like true recovery. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the virus, or the treatments he's been given for it, induces a secondary emergency, either neurological or vascular in nature or both.

I feel what's coming may even be severe enough that, for a period of time at least, he may appear catatonic. In a "stupor," if you prefer. Unable to clearly communicate or respond, if at all. I see this occurring after the election, but timing is slippery.

His biofield has always been bizarre but, right now, it's on another level. I'm not picking up a coherent immune system for him, which causes me to feel there will be inflammation in the brain and heart wall by mid-January.

Astrologically, his 6th House (governs the body, health/illness, etc. as well as daily work and routine) is ruled by Saturn and Uranus. Saturn will always be highly malefic for him, because he's so unintegrated. Well, in January, his progressed Saturn will have arrived in the 6th house, directly opposing transiting Saturn in his 12th House (hospitals, prisons, the liminal space between life and death, etc.). This leads me to believe that sometime next year, he could be placed into long term care.

Don't misread: He's going to get as crazy as we've seen him before he's gone. And his Base will match or surpass him. But w h a t e v e r happens, do NOT lose heart! Do not give up. Do not allow yourself to believe they've won.

We must stand as tall as we can in our spirits and steady ourselves totally. Imagine that, as a nation, we're in labor. Something beautiful is trying to be born that MUST be born for humanity to continue. For the planet to begin to heal. The contractions are hell but we have to keep breathing deeply, staying very very present with ourselves and one another—even those whose ideas we oppose. There's no other option. ✨

"think Pence, but with balls" ?  ?

Don't worry, everyone. He's back! He's bigger! He's better! Able to leap tall White Houses in a single bound!!

According to Dr. Jonathan Crane, er, Dr. Sean Conley, he's new and improved and symptom free. Says the doctor who was appointed by the world's greatest physician, Ronny Jackson.
