@lawrence

at first I was devastated but immediately I started to feel calm because I know whatever the GOP is going to do its double edge sword for them. I feel like this is going to light a fire on everyone who knows that if he continues to be president our rights as American citizens are going to be less. If he gets another r years he is going to get away with even more. This election is a very important election. The GOP are screwed. Let them install another one before the election.

Amen to all of that.

But as we are talking about on another thread-- I posted

We have to hold onto this (the idea that she will continue working in the 'great beyond') and allow her to do her work and not be trapped in this world of our moaning and groaning of disappointment and blame as in "why couldn't she make it another 2 months" as the liberal collective is thinking and voicing.

She's not done with her life's purpose but only works with greater power and angelic helpers from on high on the other side of the veil.

I put my thoughts on the prayer thread but am adding this hear.

When I wrote in the prayer thread: "May she be surrounded by a host of angels", I felt Ruth was surrounded and greeted by a great amount of angels.  They were greeting her with love and almost a sense of them being so very proud of her, of them rejoicing in her journey.

I then saw a sword in her hands, the sword of justice, raised high in the air..

She is going to be working for us from the other side.

She is glowing in light.

I may feel broken but she is even more than she was before.

Today is Rosh Hashanah.

 RBG was Jewish.

Rosh Hashanah is sometimes called “The Feast of Trumpets.”

Keep that image in your mind.  There is deep meaning for this to be the day she passed away.  Keep looking for the meaning.

@lovendures

According to Jewish tradition, a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, which began tonight, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness.

I have been moving to that place of gloom and today's news on RBG, followed with the reports of McConnell being ready to hold hearings -- God help us all.

It seems to me that the predictions for 2021 overwhelmingly point to a Trump loss: The rebuilding, climate change work, etc Let’s speak those into existence

Please, please, don't fall victim to despair.

We have lost many beacons of light this year like John Lewis and now Ruth Ginsburg, but I believe they are still powering us.

Fight.

Yes. They passed over for a reason during this crucial time. To support us from the other side. One of my best friends passed last month. He directed the Miss America pageant for many years and quit the day "T walked on stage during my rehearsals and grabbed the contestants breasts and tried to kiss them".  It was many years ago and totally non political. These icons will not let us down.

The Notorious RBG, a beacon of light and a tower of strength for All women and for All those historically under represented. A true heart warrior whose wisdom granted us all a voice and a presence in the halls of justice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I dropped to my knees and cried when I heard the news of your passing. Your Mighty shoes will be hard to fill. Forever Grateful! Rest now in Peace!

Wasn't there a prediction of a funeral procession, and there were Republicans following it all smiles could this be RBG's funeral in the vision. If so, than the visions are coming true so there is still hope.

Devastating.

May her memory be for a blessing.

In the Jewish tradition, someone who dies on Rosh Hashanah (began tonight) is considered to have been righteous and blessed.

2020. You never fail to disappoint.

I see their passing as slightly different. I think it is a changing of the guard. They fought a long and great battle and have done their service. For us to move forward, we need a new batch of leaders to get us there and stay in their leadership roles thruout the change. The elder leaders we have now cannot accomplish that and by them passing at this crucial point, it forces the new leaders to act and take their new roles. If this were a quiet time, some of those new leaders would get complacent, but with the distinct charge in society today, they will all step up with feverish drive because their new seats are empty in a critical time.

@mas1581 Yes, many leaders will be newly inspired by the loss of such great icons. And, it will be The  Women who will utilize and protect their Life’s endeavors by standing on the shoulders of these Great Giants. In more ways that can be possibly counted, women will rise up and take the reigns of leadership back. There was a time long long ago...and now is the time to come.
