Hi everyone. It was strange today. I was taking an exam today for school when I was starting thinking about the song, "Funeral for a Marionette". I was like, "Why am I thinking about this song?" I was done with my exam online at 6:30pm, and then I heard about Trump going to the hospital. Then, I thought, "That's why".

The mere idea that Trump will somehow come out of this event wiser and more empathic is laughable.  He will NEVER admit he is wrong.

I agree that he will likely not change... not while embodied on this planet... but perhaps his immortal soul will have a growth experience??

@cindy

I have had similar thoughts as you Cindy.

Also interesting to note that both those senators are on the Judiciary Committee and they have met with others on that committeeee earlier this week.  Not sure if that included Democrats.

I have felt this is likely true ( Covid) from the beginning, though understand why others are skeptical.  It has been reported that because Trump showed up late to the debate, they could not test him and took the word of his "people". that he had tested negative.  He was supposed to test before the event.  Also, the fact that his "people" did not wear masks was also against the rules.

Why is it ok to break the rules?  Why didn't they stop the debate from happening?

I agree.  His immortal soul may see enlightenment because of this.  However, does he still deserve to hold onto power after this?  Does he deserve to be in a position of authority ever again?

I am not happy.  I am angry.  I am angry that this man is currently getting the best care in the world even after mocking Biden for wearing a mask.  I am angry that I have been mocked for wearing a mask when my only goal was to ensure that I didn't catch the virus and spread it to my vunerable loved ones.  I am angry that my sister, who has multiple health conditions, is forced to go to work every week with an N-95 mask and yet has to go so far as to eat in her car because it is too dangerous for her to take off her mask at the school she works in.

And what about the Republicans?  I learned that two of them who are on the judicial committee tested positive.  They were so quick to move to confirm a new Supreme Court Justice.  They didn't even wait for RBG to be buried before naming a candidate!  And this party has been desperate to destroy Obamacare for years.  Even now, in the midst of a pandemic!  And why?  It is not because they are against health care!  It is because it was Obama who initiated it!  They can't handle the fact that a black man was the one who did it!  If Obama was white, do you think they would still be so fixated on destroying it?

I'm sorry.  I don't want them to die.  But I want them to change!  I want them to become more empathic, and yet I know they never will in this life.  But I do want them to lose the power to hurt us.  I don't believe that is unreasonable.

As far as the difficulty breathing report, Jim Acosta reported it thru Twitter and its being covered by UKs Mirror and news.com.au thus far.

Hiding the severity of his symptoms at this point are a national security issue so I understand it not being covered by US news. My issue isn't them lying about his current health, its the issue of lying and letting him carry on as usual knowing he has symptoms and a positive test

As to your question about whether you are going to Hades because you found humor in the fact that Trump has caught the "hoax," I have a question for you.

Would you hold it against the ones who lost loved ones on 9/11 when they celebrated the death of Osama Bin Laden?

Now, you may say that there is not a good comparison.  Maybe not.  But while Trump has not killed people physically the way that Bin Laden did, his callousness and lack of empathy has caused the deaths of so many through neglect.  What's more, he is willing to kill more people by threatening to incite violence against the country if he doesn't win the election.  Everything from encouraging his followers to "watch" the polls to threatening to use the military against any protestors after the election, he is threatening not only our rights, but our lives.

People are panicking right now about the chaos that might erupt if Trump becomes incapacitated before the election.  But I think the chaos that results from Trump making it to the election would be much worse.

Again, it is my hope that he finally realizes he will lose and simply resign before the election.  One can only hope.

@polarberryfor me, his lack of tweeting and being very quiet today, says it all. For a narcissist, going to the hospital is no small thing.

One thing I will say about this is that the timing was a huge gift to us. Im not saying that because it can hurt his reelection chances, but because his actions we going to get a lot more dangerous between now and 11/3 because he was losing worse by the day. This will put a limit on the damage he can do between now and then because there is no way he fully recovers in a month if he is bad enough to be hospitalized. This saved a lot of lives and couldve saved us a civil war that all could have been caused by him in the next month.

I had a vision of the White House being picked up by the talons of a gigantic eagle who lifted it into the air and dropped it to the ground.  Then, one by one, the eagle picked people out of the the White House windows and removed them.

KellyAnne Conway just announced that she is also infected.  That makes 8 people so far who attended the nomination event at the WH last Saturday who are confirmed infected.

To me, this prediction now seems to be making more sense.

The Scotus announcement at the WH last Saturday now appears to be a mass spreader event where people were literally "plucked" out of the White House and infected with a deadly disease.

I didnt even of think the SCOTUS confirmation. If 2 Republicans on the judicial committee are quarantined for covid, that gives Democrats the vote advantage on the committee and in the senate overall(with Murkowski and Collins publically saying they wont support it). This changes the landscape and keeps them from being able to confirm Barrett before the election

I honestly can say that throughout the day I have found myself spontaneously smiling and giggling. The irony is funny as more and more people are named. Mmm!

It does look like an end is coming, in some matter. By-Don! Imply it as you will. So many of you predicted this in numerous ways. Today was the first day that I could actually watch the news for longer than 10 minutes without being disgusted and turning it off. Or without screaming at him as I immediately hit mute while he was talking. He has always made my skin crawl, and I am not at all sad to see him Leave. Or ironically become symptomatic of his own hubris. It does make me understand And respect the natural laws of the Universe. So sorry...I know I still have work to do And I will most likely have to come back in another life to do this. I accept this.

And one more thing, I agree with you @Lawrence, @allyn and many others. He is done! And now, Only in his illness and weakness does he now appear human. It’s over.

The super spreader event seems to be the nomination event for the justice that replaces Ruth Bader Ginsburg. They went against her wishes now I bet they are going to regret it, which was also a prediction. Karma is scary, yet amazing.

Trump's new 2020 campaign manager Bill Stepien also has Covid-19.

Too bad Brad Parscale isn't available to step back in.  (Sorry, just couldn't resist)

Another one testing positive his campaign manager. It’s recipe for disaster; this Rose Garden event.

Yes. It looks like the event for a future justice, against the wishes of a former justice, is having its own type of justice.

Someone posted a vision a while back about the Rs getting their SCOTUS nomination through but they would regret it.

Could it be that what they regret will be the SCOTUS nominee announcement in the Rose Garden b/c they’re all coming down with CoVid after attending the event?

Im going to go look for that prediction.
