@jeanne-mayell  When I saw them being booed the first thing that popped into my head was the former Romanian dictator Ceausescu getting booed at what turned out to be his last speech before he was forced out.

The best most amazing part of the video is that people are chanting "Vote him out" -- it is so democratic! When contrasted with "Lock her up" (Or "send her back" which is what drump's rally-goers yelled about Ilhan Omar), there is so much hope and dignity in it. It is also such a powerful statement, it takes back the power to the people, compared with the authoritarian law enforcement tone of 'lock her up.' It's almost enough to give me hope ;)

@Lynn, Ceausescu also got shot by a firing squad! Then again, in an uncertain future far far away.. *if* Trump gets out of the WH and *if* the right people grow a pair and he gets charged with something and *if* he gets convicted... what would happen to him? A few months in minimum security due to tax fraud or a much harsher fate due to treason?

Then again, with his diet he probably go down below before anyone gets their hands on him...

@bluebelle  Me too!!!! I am a small enough person that I LOVED seeing his eyes squinch up and his body sway and stiffen just before he grabbed Melanoma's hand and exited stage left!!! and thanks @polarberry!!! That link to Teri Kanefield is awesome!!!! Reading it DID make me feel better.

When I was young and would often do the not so wise things that young children do (especially in a family of 5 - 4 of which were brothers) My Grandmother would say "Hoist with thine own petard"  I think this really applies to Impotus and the rest of this term of office.. he WILL blow himself up trying to destroy the rest of us.

We will have much work ahead to recover... but .. good works take time and Peace and Kindness and working together will make it a Joy.

@moonbeam Why do dictators last for several decades before they fall? Trump could've been one if he was competent enough.

The acting head of the Bureau of Land Management ( BLM, Not Black Lives Matter) is in trouble.

A federal judge on Friday ordered acting Bureau of Land Management Director William Perry Pendley to step aside, blocking him from exercising any more authority after finding that he has served unlawfully for more than 400 days.

Chief District Judge Brian Morris of the US District Court of Montana ruled that Pendley has served unlawfully for 424 days, in response to a lawsuit brought by Democratic Montana Gov. Steve Bullock and the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. Morris additionally ruled Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt cannot pick another person to run the Bureau of Land Management as its acting head because that person must be appointed by the President and Senate-confirmed.
The judge gave both sides of the case 10 days to file briefs about which of Pendley's orders must be vacated.
"Pendley has served and continues to serve unlawfully as the Acting BLM Director," Morris wrote in his opinion. "His ascent to Acting BLM Director did not follow any of the permissible paths set forth by the U.S. Constitution or the (Federal Vacancies Reform Act). Pendley has not been nominated by the President and has not been confirmed by the Senate to serve as BLM Director."
