This is the time for us to turn up the hope. Turn it up in your hearts. See RBG, Lewis, Cummings, and so many others working with us. The Afterlife expands our abilities. I feel RBG let go because she realized when at the edge of the abyss that she could do even greater work in the beyond.
I accept this. I have had odd dreams of a state of the union address that you guys do where RBG was allowed to see into the future. She was given a choice to stick around for a very long time, despite her age. She chose not too.
I did not think of it in terms of her passing. The overall imagery, while dark, was much lighter both at the start and end. I'm not as eloquent as many of you are here. Suffice to say, it got really dark after RBG made her choice. Pence was asked why he was not pulling out his hair. Darkness, neither from the light or the dark, enveloped Trump while he was on the dais, and then just pure light coming from I guess the gallery, which I took to mean the people in general vs the politicians, even it the most intensity seemed to come from the direction beyond where AOC sits. Maybe not the right place to post, but it seems the most appropriate.
@bluebelle, I agree with you. All one has is their honour, and how this is playing out in the early days shows a lack of it. One can't claim a "moral high ground" and divest oneself of honour at the same time. It creates the situation akin to holding a beach ball underwater. In light of the day, that perversion will be as unexpected as the beach ball surfacing, and I think the US will be better for that scab to be ripped off once and for all even if it hurts.
@jeanne-mayell That hits it right on the nose.
@moonbeam He should be careful about who he emulates, given what happened to Mussolini and his mistress. Hitler and his mistress. Ceausescu and his wife. The Perons. Stalin.
It never ends well for people like Trump.
Why would Amazon among others donate to QAnon promoting lawmaker, when trump hates Amazon?
@Elaineg, thank you for prompting yet another conversation about how we can use our purchases to hold companies accountable for who they support.
But please read this first: I know it is instinct to just pass along something we read, but I need everyone to fact check first and use links (it takes just a minute) before posting, so we don't end out inadvertendly helping QAnon, the Kremlin, and other rumor mongers.
Otherwise it is like shooting first and asking questions later.
When this post appeared yesterday, it had already been emailed to hundreds of subscribers and was read by scores of others. I later spotted it and took it down until I had time to factcheck.
It took me just two minutes to put it into google and see that it was true. :-). So, at the risk of being repetitive, please factcheck and post with links.
So it turns out to be an important discovery, and reminds us to hold companies we patronize accountable: Walmart, Amazon, among donors to QAnon promoting lawmaker
"Walmart, Amazon and other corporate giants donated money to the reelection campaign of a Tennessee state lawmaker who had used social media to amplify and promote the QAnon conspiracy theory, according to an Associated Press review of campaign finance records and the candidate’s posts."
The article explains why and how large corporations end out supporting candidates like this. Corporations make donations based on a narrow range of practical criteria and usually do not vet the politicians they support. Amazon said they donated a year earlier to this woman and will not donate again.
If enough people complain to Amazon, Walmart, and other companies then they will change their donation practices.
The website Media Matters tracks corporate donations so we can become more aware of the corporations we patronize and let our purchases be a powerful voice. Here's their article on QAnon-donating companies.
If you complain to the companies they will take note. Amazon and Walmart have been made aware but your complaint to them could do wonders.
@elaineg thank you for raising our awareness.
Ahhh ... the plot thickens : https://www.newsandguts.com/nancy-pelosi-doesnt-rule-out-impeachment-proceedings-to-stall-senate-from-proceeding-with-scotus-nominee/
remember the discussions of saving things to release in October??? It's seems Nancy is hinting they are they ready for deployment.
Welcome! So glad you joined us :) This is such a refuge and a place to share, learn and grow our light. It is an incredible community. (continued thanks to @jeanne-mayell for keeping us on track!)
Trump has gone off the rails again, even by his standards. Now he is saying he might sign an executive order stating Biden cant be POTUS. There is obviously no legal standing here and it would all be for show if he tried, but how stupid do you have to be to believe that is possible? I'm not sure if he believes it would do anything beyond just fueling his conned base, but even if that is true, he has to think his base is comprised of the bottom of the intellect barrel, and thats coming from the ignoramus in chief himself. Wow.
I had to check what MAS1581 posted. T did say that.
@mas1581. Declaring his chief rival as ineligible to run for office is right out of the Putin playbook. I wouldn't be surprised if the Kremlin specifically provided that idea to Mr. Trump.
@mas1581 Thanks for your posts AND please provide links.
