Yes and some of the key player that were named. The ones who are more vocal in protecting T.

Along with Greene, the conspiratorial pro-Trump Republican from Georgia who took office earlier this year, the pair both say the members who participated in these conversations or had top staffers join in included Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas).

“We would talk to Boebert’s team, Cawthorn’s team, Gosar’s team like back to back to back to back,” says the organizer.

All this is super dope but is anyone going to take this report seriously ?

Like don't get me wrong, I do support an investigation but so far all the insurrectionists have as proof are receipts.  It's not like these treasonous senators/congressmen were dumb enough to allow themselves to be taped.

???Here's to hoping they are that dumb tho lol

@blackandwhite Looking at the list I'm fairly confident at least two of them are, in fact, dumb enough.  But we'll see I guess.

@Baba had a recent prediction that Garland shows his hand on all of this in November.  Baba's track record is incredible so fingers crossed!

So next week I will be voting for the first time in an odd-year election. All of the previous odd-year elections I was either in college or living temporarily in another state, so I couldn't be bothered to fill out an absentee ballot. That's not the case this year though. Which gets me to thinking about how when each one of us votes, we create an energy of civic engagement that reverberates through time and space and affects elections in totally unexpected ways (even if you are voting on the west coast at the end of the day). There are several marquee races next week, and even if you don't live in a city or state where one of those races is taking place, you can still influence the outcome by showing up and voting at your precinct.

This is all to say: just vote.

how long will Trumpty Dumpty be allowed to obscure and delay and spend our tax dollars with frivolous lawsuits tying up and impeding progress? How long will his minions delay and kill the changes so so needed for the average American ? To care for our climate, our peoples? Do they really believe they can fly to another planet and start their Chosen Ones society there leaving Earth and 99% percent of us struggling and dying in the climate horror landfill they are making? Also- past time to get rid of the fillibuster and enact the full agenda of change that we have been asking our leaders to do.  It's dark and raining and chilly here for this weeks end and I have had yet another older, sick cat dumped out needing hospice care.... which I am giving. She was vetted yesterday ... recheck in 2 weeks..this is the 7th one and I had to ask for help/donations this time. I am feeling such despair at getting the changes needed, and the perpetrators being held accountable, and how the main stream media seems to bow down to TFG and his flying monkeys?

Don't lose hope my friend.  With Biden's announcement about a scaled back reconciliation package yesterday we're in a great place right now!  Was it everything it should have been?  Absolutely not.  Was it the best we could expect in 2021 given the current makeup of Congress and the incredibly tone deaf Manchin and Sinema using their newfound clout?  Yes.  But some reasons for hope:  (even if it hasn't gone through both houses yet)

1)  The monthly refundable Child Tax Credit will now be permanent, with the higher number being extended for a full year.  Republicans will now have to actively defend their position of wanting to take away money from the working class.

2)  Climate health is still a priority - no drilling for fossil fuels in the arctic, offshore drilling blocked, restoration of the coasts and Great Lakes, cleanup for mining, etc. Lots of great stuff here even if it's not the Green New Deal.

3)  Investment in child care and universal pre-K.  I still feel good that family leave is coming in future years legislation.

4)  Medicare expansion - this too will grow over time.

Lots of other stuff in there too.  Has it passed both houses yet?  Nope.  Has @Baba predicted this scaled back one will pass?  Yep.  Have hope there.  Everything in the bill is great news for the US and the world even if it's not everything needed to address all the social and climate issues we currently face.  Every child takes a first step before taking another.

Also have hope my friend that justice will come to pass.  It's been foreseen here, but even watching the news right now (which I'm trying not to do) and watching Twitter - there are some very terrified domestic terrorists right now.  The noose will continue to tighten and we just have to hang on for the coming months for justice to truly be served.

Just have hope in general my friend - as hard as it might be at times.  Think if necessary of where you are on the spiral @Jeanne-Mayell brought up in the recent thread.  We're all on an upward tick even though many of us are on lower rungs of it.  We'll make it through this.  Sending you some light and love!

@dannyboy  Thanks Danny Boy.. and I needed that.. big hug to you. The news, the weather and yet another old and sick feline just dumped out to suffer/scrabble til death provides release by the uncaring previous owner.. all piled on to make me despair. She is the sweetest old kitty... sick with an URI and her liver showed up as huge and raggedy on the rads.. meaning most likely a tumor cooking or hepatic failure coming on. Hospice care once again.. and of course ... she's as sweet and humble a soul as ever I met in  30 year vet tech career... so grateful for the smallest crumb of care. I am glad she found her way here so that I can help her live her last days in safety, warmth and care with steady groceries.  Even tho most days I know not a sparrow falls... the callous, uncaring and greedy  seem to be winning sometimes... free from consequences while the rest of us do the clean-up from their fallout. I know the Highest Good is coming - that "in the End everything will be alright... if it's not alright it's not the end"  I just feel really tired and discouraged yesterday when I got that news on her. I have had friends step up and offer to help with funds for her care...a first! And I appreciate it too.. because I can use the ? help with all these critters food and medicines. I think I just need to turn off the news and listen to some good tunes and cook something yummy and love on these furkids for my weekend. Turning on some John Prine and cranking it up and baking some bread and a poundcake before making a roast and winter veggies for supper tonight. Stay warm and dry my friends.
