I keep flashing on predictions people here have had that Trump will meet his demise in 2020.
Up until now, Trump has demonstrated like no other politician in U.S. history his ability to survive his blunders and criminal exposure.
But while I was watching the movie Bombshell the other night, I got a popup. Just as Roger Ailes was invincible against women's harassment lawsuits until he wasn't, Trump is also invincible until he isn't any more.
I see cracks in his fortress now. I see water seeping through a leaky boat. I get flashes of Harvey Weinstein vainly using his old ploys to stop the NY Times from publishing that piece that blew him wide open, ploys that had worked for him for decades that no longer worked.
I can't see how Trump will survive this last and final blunder - an utter failure to protect the people from a pandemic he had been given plenty of warning about. His turnaround efforts -- $50 billion and border closings, are too late to stop what is coming. He said he tested negative, but it could be a false negative.

When I read that T was negative, it rang completely false. A large amount of people who were at Mar-a-Lago will test positive. I believe they are trying to buy time hoping they can keep his symptoms hidden.

I'm so glad you both said this. The second I heard that result both my husband and I both looked at each other and said B**sh*t! We know in our psychic gut that he has the virus and might not feel ill now but he's spreading it around to those around him.

I keep being reminded how important it is to stay open: as far back as I was seeing a health issue that would eventually lay him low (as have others), COVID-19 wasn't yet a disease. In trying to identify symptoms then, I kept hitting on something neurological. But it's clear he's had ongoing neurological dysfunction for some time. (And they're all guilty of attempting to hide or dismiss the evidence of that, like the great gaslighters they are.)
But the real wave that inevitably sweeps him out isn't an ideological one. It won't be his own illness or personal death, either, because he is more than himself now. What removes Trumpism is the tsunami of utter incompetence, the deliberate destruction of US government infrastructure, the shattering of an inflated market, and the mounting distress and growing death toll for everyday US citizens it has caused.
There's no schadenfreude that we can feel in that—it has or will injure everyone of us. We're living in that storm right now.

I do not blame them one bit!!!!! I am pretty unhappy about it my own self... I just had a vision of him getting this....then using it to wield power over everyone who wanted to get it... I know he saw himself making lots of money and getting lots of power and praise from it if successful. About as absurd as his offer to buy Greenland. Thank Creator this did not happen!
