what I've read from various people is that yes she will be confirmed but it is not going to be a good thing for the Republicans in the long run.

I just had a vision of crumbling columns. Like you see in Rome. The foundation is rotted. The court must be rebuilt.

I hear a heavy bell echoing through time; bearing the weight of karma with its toll. It is a funeral bell - solemn and deep in tone. Its song is one of sadness, of loss, of grief, of death; of knowing this path should be different, made through choices set in stone long ago.

Yet within this cry of darkness and despair there is hope. Weep for what is lost, but know that all is as it must be. As wildfire consumes all in its path, so life will regrow from ashes in its wake. A phoenix must burn before it can be reborn.

These are the darkest times, when our hearts weigh heavy with despair. But as winter must come, so too will spring - and our hearts will dance with joy once more. Hold faith - hold light - hold hope - and let us all be the beacon to guide humanity through this long night, into the rising dawn of a new age.

the only thing is that I'm disappointed in Nancy Pelosi, who claimed they had some quivers in their bow or whatever the term is, to stop this thing. And someone mentioned that on line and a person said, that old hag is just shooting her mouth off. So it aggravates me. If she didn't have any quivers in her bow, she shouldn't have said she did.

@saokymo, such beautiful and true words.  The light will return. Today's ignominious act will backfire spectacularly on the Republicans. The courts will be expanded, and the Republicans just gave the progressives the justification to do that. Amy Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh will be marginalized and live to regret being granted an honor they never earned.

When I pulled cards I saw two new Justices, a younger man and an older woman. Biden will simply expand the court. It's what they do in the meantime that's scary.

@polarberry I think you were all seeing what is coming for her down the road.  If we get the blue sweep, she will be marginalized and impotent.  So will Kavanaugh.

When the court is expanded, everything they will do to tear down protections for women, people's health, the environment, and more will be reversed and backed by the new expanded court.  It will have been a Pyrrhic victory for the Repubs, one that they got at great cost to them down the road.

@jovesta sorry I missed this, we didn’t lose electricity but my internet went down.
I know what Amy stands for but I feel her mute. I know the damage she can cause, but it seems to only bring twice the backlash. I don’t think justice in the way I perceive it is her strong suit.

I feel the presence of a black woman, promised by Biden, who will have more authority. I feel more depth and maturity here.

I also feel a man involved. Some energy will be freed even for conservatives and others will be kneecapped.

I get another sense Amy has a job she promised to do and its to her minders. She is not independent.

i assume the house and senate must pass laws for protection, so that begins with Nancy and a new senate. There is a lot of work and headache ahead.

@polarberry

I haven't done Amy's numerology chart as I DO NOT LIKE HER ENERGY. But I did throw the cards on her several times and they always were horrible. The last throw she had the nine of swords, the eight of swords, with the Tower as the outcome. So, even though she got in, it was NOT going to be good for her. Plus, this all happened while mercury was in retrograde, and things started and completed during a mercury retrograde NEVER work out.
