Hi everyone,

This is what I got today (sadly no Smokey Bear or Uncle Sam today!):

I see Ted Cruz crying.

I see M. McConnell and hear, “I quit!”

When I look at whether T is convicted in the impeachment, I get that it is still undecided.

When I see T. preparing for the impeachment, I see a little Putin sitting on his shoulder and smiling. Not sure what this means.

I keep hearing “Enquirer”. Something about this and the hush money situation becomes relevant again?

@baba - I get the feeling that the little Putin on the tRump's shoulder ( like the devil/imp sitting on cartoon shoulders urging the characters to do "bad things" Putin is urging tRump to do the "bad things" and that ... like in the cartoons... the hapless character acts out the imp's urges and when caught? The devil/imp disappears in a poof leaving the character holding the bag. There is enough video evidence hacked and downloaded from Parler that the sack of feces tRump opened up will be on him and his alone... Putin will withdraw to keep from being known as the mover behind the shaker.

Also... once that happens Cruz and his compadres will also be implicated and left holding the bag. McConnell is storming off and quitting because Schumer will not allow the filibuster to remain and McConnell's power to disrupt and block will fade rapidly. No power? No McConnell! I see the GOP falling apart as they turn on each other like a pack of wild dogs... destroying themselves from within their own party.

I agree.

When I focus on the Senate GOP members, I see dirty, swirling water going down a sewer. It's just a matter of time. Tick tock. I'm also feeling between now and sometime in March, GOP members will either not be running again (like Rob Portman today) or perhaps switching sides. I'm seeing a changes with 3 members all together. Mitch's power will be sunk. Not seeing him around. He's holding Custer's Last Stand at the moment. Maybe he's #3.

I don't have visions, but I think that the chances that Trump will be convicted in the Senate is zilch.

Sorry, but it is true.

Republicans are cowards, and they will not miraculously grow a spine when they have been without one for the last four years.  They know that if they vote against Trump, they will probably be challenged in the primary and lose their seats.  Also, they are banking on Democrats to continue to play by the rules and be safe.

But these Republicans have already lost.  If they vote for Trump, they will lose the support of independent and Democrats who otherwise would consider giving them their vote.  After all, why would you vote for someone who condones terrorism and supports someone who incites terrorists?  And if they lose their seats to a MAGA supporter in the primary, then the same result would happen.

In short, as long as Trump is alive and trying to make noise, then Republicans will war with each other, while Democrats will be reminded constantly of the terroristic threat that is MAGA and will stay united.  There is a chance that this impeachment trial will succeed in destroying the Republican party because Trump will refuse to stay quiet whether he is convicted or not.  Trump will go after his perceived enemies, and the specter of another Trump term will have Democrats voting in the polls with furor while the brainwashed Trumpers will wonder if they should vote at all since the system is "rigged" against them.

Regardless, Republicans will pay the costs for their actions, one way or another.  And if the Democrats manage to take more seats in 2022 and make the Republicans a super minority, then we can finally make sweeping reforms and deposit the Republicans and Trump into the dustbin of history where they belong.

@baba -- So spot on. The Daily Beast posted an article this morning about the former head of the National Enquirer still helping trump. Here's the link:

@allyn I often like to devils advocate Allyn - but I’m 100% in agreement.  There’s almost zero chance of a conviction.  BUT - there’s plenty of opportunities from New York which I feel is more fruitful.

And a Republican Party in chaos from the trial is the best outcome one can hope for - as long as the Democrats don’t get sucked into it.  While they’re infighting we need to be passing bills into law.

This may not be the reason you saw that, but it's interesting anyway and it kind of fits:

@dannyboy  IMO the value of having an impeachment trial is that it will bring all the evidence out in the open, where the public can be aware of it.  If done well, it will be like turning over a rock to see what lives under it.  We've got to turn that rock over and expose all the creepy-crawlies to the sunlight.

Before the Senators were sworn in as jurors for the impeachment trial, there was a vote on a resolution introduced by Paul Ryan to have the impeachment declared unconstitutional because the Orange One is no longer the president.  The resolution was defeated 55-45, but Mitch McConnell voted with the minority, which tells you that he isn't going to vote to convict, regardless of reports that he supported the impeachment.  This, I think, is his revenge on Schumer for refusing to promise not to eliminate the filibuster.  He will - as he always has - oppose anything and everything Biden wants to do for as long as he can, and he still holds a lot of sway with R senators.

This whole exercise, then, is going to be another sham trial.  Dump will once again be exonerated, the R's will get to declare victory once again, and thus will be the setup for the long term fight in the Senate for Biden to get anything done.

The only rays of light here for me are that McConnell is no longer the Majority leader, and every Senator will have to go on record voting to acquit.  That record, their continued support of the Orange One and his lies, and their obstructionist behavior over the next two years will - I pray - spell the end for their future political hopes and the death knell of the R party.

A while back I posted about Mitch McConnell working for Russia, and someone said it is more likely he is involved with China. I'm sure his wife has a lot of illegal goings-on, and he knows and is probably involved, BUT, I still strongly feel that he is working for Russia. I can't shake it. I hope all his dirty deeds come to light, and hopefully they will, and he will be gone. Anyone who defends Twitler knows all roads lead to Russia.

I continue to have visions concerning Russia. It isn't something specific, but a 'caper' feeling is the bases of all of this. I am not sure if it is *against* Russia or if it is coming from them. There isn't any fear connected, but a lot of excitement and trepidation. I cannot help but think that it might have something to do with Mr. Navalny.

I've been sunk in the unease lately and I tried to track it and this is what I arrived at.

I know I wasn't expecting 4 years of extremism to evaporate overnight, but my brain didn't spread that message to the rest of my body.  Right now, we have 45 senators saying the impeachment is unconstitutional, which I think foreshadows how things will go down there.  (Though I am holding on to the imagery one of you sent about lifting up the rock to see what's underneath).  Just today the republican legislature in Michigan said they'd be withholding 2.1 billion in funding for schools unless the governor is stripped of her emergency powers. https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2021/01/27/whitmer-school-funds-covid-michigan/4274515001/

As I traced this a bit (and there's more to trace) the best imagery I come up with is a glass of water on an uneven table.  We banged our knee against this table spectacularly with this election and the water's going to rock back and forth for a little while while it stabilizes.  Thankfully we're on a new table now :-)

Looking ahead politically I feel pits of dread like we bump the new table a few times too - particularly around midterms but I don't get anything specific (on Michigan or Nationally) so it could just be those entrenched swamp beasts like Rand Paul and others reaching for one last chance at the pie before their lot is gone - I guess that's the important thing to remember.  It'll take time.  I'll have to throw some cards.

@dannyboy

I’m not sure what these knee bumps signify to you. Are they good or bad?

Jeanne has said repeatedly that it might take something like 2 years for the dark figures in national politics to be neutralized. And the “gestalt” of things is telling me that the 2022 midterms will defy conventional wisdom about how midterm elections usually play out (assumptions about the party in the WH losing seats in Congress).

@coyote I don’t know that the knee bumps are good or bad, I’m more focused on the water in the glass as the metaphor in okay. But - yes, I’m holding on to the two year thing!  I had to close my laptop after getting word my noon meeting had to cancel and went upstairs to lie down.  Today was a mental exhaustion day.  A 45 minute power nap/meditation brought nothing new - just unease.  But I did at least emerge from said nap and meditation with the focus back in my head so I can go about my day now with that at the very least!

I may yet throw some cards this afternoon and see if I can get to the bottom of this one.

it’s a shame I can’t do that at work in the physical office!

I did a quick read, which for me is about 25 minutes without the book unless I'm completely stumped.  I'm going to go back now and look at the book meanings for the ones that didn't stump me.  Here it is with a short analysis.

My question:  What is the general mood of the collective after the 2022 midterm elections.

Card 1:  Strength - I initially saw a passing of the torch, interestingly the crone wore red and the woman on the lion having power passed to her was wearing blue.  It represents the transfer of power that’s just happened.

Card 2:  Six of Spears:  The Return of Ambrosius - I keep pulling this card in readings despite massive shuffles!  This time around in the positive influences category I saw Ambrosius as Biden - he looked slightly frail, but was celebrated nonetheless.  People are excited for the return to normalcy that he’s provided even with some of the stirrings of the old ways.

Card 3:  ten of swords (Camlann) - It’s a battle - plain and simple.  There’s going to be some all out warfare in congress - both between the usual suspects, and within party - feel strongly like the Republicans in particular are going to fracture beyond repair - message from the higher self - hold on, it will end - but it won’t be pretty.

Card 4:  Temperance (reversed) - this is the subconscious right now.  The best read I could get from this card is “things are flipped” which is literal since this card is reversed.  When right side up, it’s calm and tranquil.  I don’t get that here, just “flipped”

Card 5:  The Tower (reversed) - these are the events from the past shaping things - and while reversed the two dragons are still fighting but they appear to be doing it underground instead of above ground.  Shady dealings will come to light - light is fighting for us. and reversed, looks poised to win.

Card 6:  Knight of Spears (Reversed) - Right side up I see a man alone in the wilderness setting off on a journey.  He seems good.  From a reversed perspective, I think it’s a reminder that the vocal minority has held the microphone for so long - there are many working in many different ways on bringing in the light.

Card 7:  Eight of Swords (Reversed, Guenevere at the Stake) - Again, I see similar meanings both ways, but reversed Guenevere already appears dead.  Being that this is the “attitudes and psychological state” I feel like maybe this is indicating Guenevere is liberty - we’ve been afraid for so long of losing what makes us the US, we’re unsure if we can even move forward, unchain her, and revive her.
