@jeanne-mayell I see a lot of good coming in Biden's presidency when I have pulled cards. I also was talking to an acquaintance of mine who is psychic- she's visions and angels, I'm cards- and she agreed that free from the yoke of wanting to win a second term, he's going to give zero effs and have an FDR-like term. I can't wait.

But there is much Biden can do to increase her power in the Senate by addressing her banking priorities and especially her proposal that he forgive $50,000 immediately of student loan debt.

So - I went to college from 97-2003 (I spent a year abroad and had to do a year of student teaching, hence the doctor length for a teaching degree :P) and I worked my way through because even in those days we were saying that college was too expensive, but it was manageable.  I had two jobs, full control over my class schedule, and maximized my time.  Graduated undergrad without loans.

But for my Masters Degree, which I started in 2009, I had to take out loans.  When you're teaching full time and taking classes there's no "Second or third job" to help.  And each semester at two courses, I paid close to $5,000 for them.  A full time student would be taking 3-4 classes, making that $7500 or $10000 repsectively.  Okay, factor out these were grad classes and it's still more than I made at those two jobs in college in 2002.  (And more than I make in 3 month semester increments even now)

My initial thought was I'd teach and eventually become a principal.  Student loan forgiveness was a possibility given where I taught and the recommendations for forgiveness after 10 years, but not a granted, so I didn't factor it in.  Ended up finishing the degree and taking a better paying job at the ISD level.  I pay about $400 a month and only now, 9 years later, have I started making a dent in the principal.  I owe about $42,000 still.  The job I'm in now doesn't qualify for forgiveness, but again - I didn't make that a factor in any decision.

I CAN pay on this, and I will as long as I have to because I'm lucky enough to have a high enough paying job that I can afford that and my car payment and my mortgage and a cell phone bill for 4 people (with my mom on a data plan for her iPad) - but once the bills are paid and I transfer a set amount to my savings (which took several Coronavirus hits), there's not a lot left.  And I'm in a good job.

What $50,000 of loan forgiveness would mean for us (essentially canceling my debt) is nothing compared to what it would mean for hundreds of thousands of others who didn't "luck" themselves into a slightly better situation upon graduation.  It's essentially the stimulus that keeps on stimulating.  I don't know why more people don't see that as a boon to a strong economy.  I hope it happens!

Anyone consider that the visions of Elizabeth Warren might be an inducation of a high ranking position on either the Appropriation or Finance Committee now that the senate is at least bluish-purple?

@cindy because the Mass. governor is a republican, Senator Warren can't leave the Senate without loosing control of the Senate, but, her influence will be profoundly felt. And of course, should the shift in the Senate change so her presents is no longer required.. well then that's a whole new ball game.

President Biden (and ohhh how I like the sound of that) has nominated one of Warrens proteges for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Chopra, who Biden has put forward to lead the CFPB, helped Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) establish the office prior to her time serving in the upper chamber. And is her hand picked successor to run the agency,

Chopra served as a CFPB assistant director and as student loan ombudsperson after the agency was launched in 2011. He has served as a Federal Trade Commissioner since 2018.

His top priorities at the bureau are set to include ramping up enforcement of fair lending laws, in addition to cracking down on payday lenders and building what counts as an “abusive act or practice” for a slate of businesses, according to multiple reports.

and her current committee assignments will prove most helpful.

As a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Senator Warren works on legislation related to financial services and the economy, housing, urban development, and other issues, and participates in oversight of federal regulatory agencies.

Subcommittee Assignments:

I know she & other Dems can't leave the senate for other posts right now unless they live in a state where there is a Dem as governor & state law allows the gov to pick a replacement vs special election. My thoughts were that if she was on Finance or Appropriations she'd have greater access to prior works of the committees to sniff out irregularities, etc. In order to expose & fix them. This might stem from my own banking past which lands me in the role of auditor or treasurer for groups like PTA (back in the day) or church (in the middle of audit # who knows what as we speak).

I had a vision in the early morning concerning the new cycle of the US government. I forget bits since I did not write it down immediately ?, but perhaps it will give some joy to you all.

It started with Joe Biden. He wanted to go for a ride. He did not want a chauffeur, nor did he take the 'armored' car. There was no secret service, but he had faith that he would be ok. He started driving along beautiful forest areas. A was hilly and 100% nature. I did not see people around him, but there was a constant barrage of questions that sounded as if they came from the media etc. People were badgering him none-stop, but I still didn't see them, as if Joe easily tuned them out.

Joe kept smiling, relaxed and kind, and answered questions now and then without a care. Even though it looked like he'd tuned them out; he heard *every* question. The feeling I got from this was utter happiness. The warmth of the scene of him driving along a road, snaking through forest areas with the sun high up in the sky is hard to describe. It felt like a breezy, spring day from childhood.

Then I realized why Joe was so carefree. Kamala was doing something *very* daring while he kept attention on himself. I forget part of what it is that she was doing, but it was something that will have a big lasting impact on American culture/way of life. It could be a bill concerning voting, racism etc.

They are working as a team. Not as boss and VP.

I concur.  I believe I've said this before, but think it's more along the lines of a mentor/mentee relationship.  He is there to open the door for her to go through the glass ceiling, to gently guide and teach her how to deal with politics at this level, and to joyfully hand over the reins to her and those like her - the next generation - when the time comes.

Good morning beautiful people! I felt such a renewed sense of hope this morning as I’m sure you all did. Here is what I saw after morning meditation:

1) saw the world reaching out to us. Like a welcome back. they’re relieved and arms open for a hug.

2) I see a building on fire somewhere..I saw this in an earlier vision too, arson related. In the us somewhere
3) scandals come to light, saw a shovel doing digging into a hole and the word scandals coming out of the hole. obviously trump involved

3) see more women holding one hand up and being sworn into office

4) I see blue wings enveloping the White House

5) I see caribou rejoicing. Indigenous in tribal wear dancing. Probably to do with refuge?

(Part 1 due to character limits)

As we all know, there is much to be done, and yes, much will be done, but after the initial flurry of successful activity in the honeymoon (100 days), there will be roadblocks thrown up by the residual minions in Congress.  McConnell is still there and will be for a little while yet, and there are others who were just recently elected (Boebert, Hawley) along with older reps (Cruz, et al) who will need to go before we can truly march on.

There was a post on here some time ago (now unfortunately lost) in which the person said of the results of this election and the potential for progress that "the people are ready but the system is not". In my response to that post, I agreed that for these first two years, progress will be difficult because of people like the ones named above and because of the various investigations/trials and rebuilding that will now be necessary.  This next two years will be the time to clean up the mess and root out as much of the rot as possible, and much of the period will be consumed with that, so yes, until that part is complete, the system will not be ready.

However, I also said then that this recent election was the beginning of the end of the R party, and that by 2022, the nation will be so fed up with the antics and recalcitrance of the R's that there will be a true blue sweep in that year's election, which will be final nail in the coffin.  A word of caution on that prediction is that I also felt that while the R's will be done, that election will also likely signal the end of party politics in general, including on the D side.  However, from that point, progress will be kicked into high gear.  It may not be as far along as we might hope by 2024, but there should be enough evidence to prove that the path we will be on at that point is truly the correct one.

(Part 2)

The rest of this is not particularly clear to me right now, so take it with a large bag of salt. ;-) We have said on here in other places that Biden is likely aware that he will be a one term President, and I don't think anyone expects him to be anything else.  I know that I said in my previous post in this thread that it feels as though he is mentoring Ms. Harris for assuming the position at some point, whether during or after his own term.  However, I'm not clearly seeing her as President, now or then.  At the moment, I feel that if anything, she may be an "interim" President (i.e., serving a partial term for whatever reason), but the person elected in 2024 will be someone else with more experience.  However, that person will continue things on the proper path.

Having said that, a lot of water will have passed under the bridge by then, so the situation will change, and perhaps my feelings about it will change also.  We will see. :-)

According to Biden's numbers, he is in a 22/4 essence from 11/20/2020--11/20/2024. This essence gives him the powers of a statesman and a world leader. It's also a master number, so as long as Biden is working for the good of society, the Universe will support and protect him. Also noteworthy, Biden is a 2 birth force, which makes him a wonderful negotiator, diplomat, mediator, and someone who reaches across the aisle to come to an agreement. I see Biden in office for the full 4 years.

In 2024 Kamala transits an A on her birthday 10-2--which usually means a change or move of some kind. She will be in a 2 personal year and a 9 essence. She has a 9 heart--so whatever she does she will love doing it as it matches her 9 essence. It's too soon to predict what happens in 4 years, but I do see her going into a 19/1 essence on 10-2 in 2025-- which is big tests of character and lessons to be learned, but that is one FULL year after the 2024 election. She also transits a K in her chart in 2025, which brigs a windfall of some sort, OR somebody betrays her! It ~could~ mean she is being tested as the POTUS, but it really is too soon to predict at this point--day two of being the Vice President.

@tgraf66 I think it might be a good time to start sending some light a little further in the distance for 2022 and 2024 - I know it's early, but a consistent healing energy to the country as a whole is going to be necessary to make your blue sweep in 22 and 24 happen.

I may have to throw some cards on Kamala!  In reading some of the future predictions it looks like a lot of people are seeing her assume the mantle in 2024 and being re-elected in 2028, and politically, unless things are absolutely bonkers by then, the party generally doesn't put up much of a fight if the incumbent Veep decides to move forward (though there is some limited historical precedence because it's not a written rule and it has happened before).  Might be my nighttime project tonight!

Regarding your vision about the caribou and tribal dancing and rejoicing - I wonder if this could be because Biden has already signed an executive order to cancel the Keystone pipeline project, which would have been disastrous for the environment and wildlife.

Or maybe it's that a Pueblo woman, Deb Haaland, is the nominee for Secretary of the Interior.

@billy-mike

Yes, Deb Haaland is awesome, and will make history as our new leader of the DOI.... she was at Standing Rock to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline and was cooking for everyone... she is a very grounded and hands-on advocate, not just for the Indigenous communities, but for the rights of everyone including our long-suffering wildlife species.

Many, many battles have been fought over the millions of acres of public wilderness lands and waters that we hold in trust as legacy for future generations... and the wildlife and endangered species that live there. During the last 'administration' (can't even say the @#$hole's name anymore), there was more damage than ever before done with thorough exploitation of natural resources, all being sold out to private enterprises. (Looking at ol' Shady Bernhardt, and the Bureau of Land Mgmt as well ....)

It's wonderful that Biden cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline right off the top, and Ms Haaland is another strong, intelligent woman, the perfect perfect choice to steward the Dept of Interior ...like Kamala Harris, she has a Juris Doctorate in Law, and she is a warrior ... her motto: 'Be Fierce!"  ;)

I predict that a great healing will take place in the most integral part of this country, and much more consciousness will be raised in respect for our wildlands and wildlife.... and the Native American People of our country ?

@baba I don't know if you saw it, but on the Jimmy Kimmel Goodbye T video (to the song Na Na Na Goodbye), Smokey Bear was one of the characters singing it. I immediately thought of your Smokey Bear Uncle Sam vision. I normally just lurk and read, but wanted to be sure you saw it. Smokey is in the middle and at the end of the video.? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DZqu8ojifhU
