Meditation, January 9, 2021
I forgot to add that in my meditation, I was reminded that we are observers with a gift of precognition and that we can watch this unfolding while recognizing it’s temporary and that better days are ahead. We are observing the birth pangs of the Great Turning.
Today I pulled cards on Trump. How is he feeling today? Then what he is up to through January 20?
The gist is that he's going downhill and he leaves earlier than planned and after that he crashes emotionally.
The Now: Mixed response: He loves his followers, happy they showed up for him. Glad about the Capitol riot. But his megaphone is gone. He can only speak to a small in person group now.
January 9 Meeting with small group, plotting next steps.
January 10 Something unexpected must have happened to him because he is very stressed, his Leo, Center-of-Attention status can't get traction. He's thinking, Hey, I AM THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF! And a true patriot. But it's turning into a double-edged sword and it's going south.
January 11. Angry, dark, fuming
January 12: He's thinking, "I'm leaving. Got to get the hell out of her!" Plans to leave earlier than originally planned.
January 13 He may be away at this point. In a diminished state, counting his funds. [The federal authorities should freeze his assets now, and access to the $200 million post election campaign funds he raised.]
January 14: I got the Failure card. He's lost agency, can't issue orders to his usual group of subordinates.
January 15: unclear
January 16- 18th: he's isolated, shut down.
January 19th The Tower: Trump complete meltdown. Freak out. His world is on fire. This is concerning if he still has any power. I checked how Pelosi was feeling this day, and she's strong, fortified. Biden seems to be thinking of other issues, not Trump. So I'm confident that the Tower is about Trump not the country.
January 20th. He's in Melania's care.

Then a countdown from lower left (Jan 9) to the end (Jan 20). Note that the cards accidentally fell on top of a card a friend sent me, which displays angel energy of protection, along with a message that our country is protected throughout this time.

Great predictions everyone! I got a few things today during my meditation:
I see an airplane that tries to disrupt the inauguration. People are looking up at it and I see Biden squinting and looking up at it. Fighter jets are scrambled. The plot is disrupted and foiled.
I see Pence with his head down and hands behind his back. It looks like he might be taken into custody?
I asked if T will resign and got no. I asked if they try to remove him using the 25th amendment and also got no. They find a way to take away his power though and he doesn’t serve to the end of his term. No idea how that would work.
Interesting "Leo, center of attention status can't get traction."
Dealing with my own emotional experiences at the moment, I am suffering through extreme and debilitating anxiety, for pretty much the exact opposite reasons from Trump: my own Leonine instincts relate to taking on too much responsibility for the health and welfare of those around me, and at present, nobody (not just me, nobody!) can carry a burden like that themselves. I wanna be Superman, not Jimmy Olsen. Oh, well.
I was only thinking of my own situation (and am self-aware enough to be amused by the irony of that statement) when I did an I Ching casting a little while ago.
No changing lines, which always tells me to pay exceptional attention, because it usually only happens during periods of great creation or destruction (or both, depending on your point of view).
The result was Water over Thunder, Chun, "Retrenchment". It is generally an auspicious omen if one heeds the advice, most of which is to consider this time of upheaval as a ceremonial "practice run" -- the original Chinese poetry references the tradition of "wife stealing" where the groomsmen pretend to kidnap the bride in order to demonstrate how desirable she is. But the actual wedding in these verses is still 10 years off.
In other words, the answer to my own query was basically what I was going to do anyway -- consult my psych doctor about new meds, look for a less stressful job, and accept that fixing my panic attacks is going to take a while.
In the context of the larger society around us, though, Chun seems appropriate, too.
The "bride stealers" who broke into the Capitol have reminded us how precious our democracy is, and the work of healing our collective wounds is not going to be completed in a day, a week, a month, or a year. It is a long term project.
A couple of months ago I had a very clear vision about a DC building going up in flames. This forum's tribe realized I was describing the GOP building/HQ. This vision flashed before my eyes again today, but now it makes more sense of course with everything we have seen these past few days.
I get the distinct impression that the upset has only just begun, but it *is* needed so things can improve. The scab needs to come off so the puss can be removed so to speak...
As for the future. Biden will do a lot of good (he will bring balance), but I feel the undercurrents of Kamala as being the one who will really push forward.
The GOP is burning though. The party is broken beyond repair and will not be able to go on in its current form. I had a flash of people's heads being shaven. This will not actually happen, but to a Dutch person this is recognizable concerning the WWII. Collaborators in The Netherlands were part of the NSB party, very right wing. After the fall of Germany; all women who had been a part of that (treason) were shaven bald. Men were shot. However, the 'NSB' (or QAnon) has not been defeated in the US. There are many people still around who follow the ideology. It will be push/shove inside the GOP for some time, but in the end the light will prevail.

But I can him now because of how I'm doing it. I'm not feeling him. I just throw the cards and they tell me how he is feeling without my feeling it myself. For the past four years, I would not watch him, hear his voice or read his words, or let him get into my head.

I have been agitating for change for most of my life, and am only just now realizing that the healthiest changes I have made on the world at large have come from putting down roots (both figuratively as father, and literally as a permaculturist).
I can't count how many times I have given others the advice "focus on what is within reach of your own arms." I seldom seem to take that advice, however. That's why I keep coming back to this site -- it's like getting encircled by some pretty long hugging arms.
@walden-ponderer Yes, I come here, rarely posting, because it is like some beautiful times in my childhood: sitting near a large group of my aunts and uncles discussing the mid-century world. I found it comforting then, and affirming now.
I'm a bit sheepish to share this as I'm only beginning to read Tarot and, to be honest, I really think my intuitive sense is more "cerebral" than anything else. But, at any rate, I've never tried a "macro" question but felt really compelled to do one last night. I did just a simple Celtic Cross for "Will Trump face the consequences in his role in the Capitol attack?"
What I got was a mess of cards that still seemed have a clear outcome but more related to his finances and/or reputation. I think that this coup attempt will hit harder on his finances by way of corporate/wealthy donors, lost business than any legal consequences. That's my interpretation of it.
What really stood out was the 10 of swords covered by the Ace of Cups, and the number of reversed cards that seemed to speak of fantasies or dreams being dashed. I don't think this is the most illuminating reading, but just picking up what's already been predicted. Hope it's okay to share! Still learning...

When I pulled this, I legit felt ill. There is no doubt now what he wanted. He saw himself as Emperor, supreme leader. Along with the ace of cups, this really shows how close it was to true tyranny. You saved yourselves despite the planning, force and downright thirst for power.

When you combine the reversed Fool, reversed two of swords and the reversed 8 of pentacles, his reputation and finances will just wither him away.

I never bought the idea he would just fade away or try not to run again, but after deluding himself he could seize the government, he won't settle for anything less now than absolute power. And because he'll never get it, he's be listless, rudderless, and unable to take action. It's truly over for him but he doesn't realize it yet.

Impeached and removed?
@jsr78 I understand that there wouldn’t be enough time to impeach and remove while he is still in power as the senate is not in session until the new administration. That was what I found puzzling. They may be trying to figure out how to take away his powers without formally removing him? No idea.

The point is to convict. Obviously, he will be out of office by the time it's done, so that would be off the table, but the conviction would eliminate all of his post-presidential perks, like his lifetime pension, travel allowance, and secret service detail. If they are able to convict with the necessary 2/3 majority, they can then have a second vote with a simple majority to prohibit him from holding any federal office in the future.
