@journeywithme2

Not so sure they'll get away with it. The American public is not happy with the tampering of USPS. Is DeJoy still testifying? The more light that can be spotlighted on these shenanigans, the better.

Do not mail your ballet if at all possible.

@febbby23. I hope it’s ok I don’t have a link to the news.

It's okay!  :-)  It's all over the mainstream press and it was already mentioned and linked here today. It's not a rumor.  It's the rumors that we need reliable links for.

Let's hope the Jared Kushner part manifests soon!

In 2018, I had one of those strong voices in my head that said, "Jared Kushner is going to jail."  I posted it a few times here and am still waiting and expecting.

@polarberry

I don't plan to.  Early voting starts for me from October 14, 2020 through October 29, 2020.

I already have a plan.

I am going to vote on or about October 16, 2020 (a few days after early voting begins, when the crowds die down.)  I am also planning to vote between 10:00-11:00 a.m. or between 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Why those times?  Simple.  10:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. is the slowest time for voting, as everyone is at work.  And 2:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. is also a slow time, as many people are still at work and those who are not are often picking up their children from school.

How do I know this?  Because I served as President of my local bar for two years.  We had monthly meetings at the courthouse, and I also made sure to share our food with several of the local court offices there.

One of them just happened to be the county voting commission, who were so happy to share this valuable information with me.  ;D

Sometimes it pays to be kind to others.  You never know when that person or group may share useful information with you that you can use in the future.

Now, I am not saying everyone should take a box of donuts to their local voting commissions.  But it wouldn't hurt to go to the office a few weeks before early voting to "case the joint," as it were.  Find out what information/ID is needed, when the slowest hours are, etc.  Then you can plan ahead.

I already have my "voting kit" ready. (voting card, photo ID, face mask, plastic gloves in the event they don't sanitize the voting booths, etc.).  I am even bringing my cell phone so I can record that I voted and that I voted against Trump (I plan to keep that in case I learn that someone hacked my vote and changed who I voted for.  Not likely at all but I still want a record.)

In short, I will crawl through hot coals and flesh eating bacteria in order to vote Trump out this term.  So all of Trump's attempts at voter suppression and fears of Covid 19 will not stop me.

I admit, my efforts sound extreme (and before you ask, no, I didn't give food to the voting commission with the idea of finding out what hours were best in my district.  I just hated to have food wasted at the end of each of our monthly meetings, and the idea of throwing it all in the trash bin was unthinkable.  Far better to share with people so that it doesn't go to waste is reward in and of itself.)  But we must remember that Trump and his allies need to suppress the vote in order to win.  They can't win any other way.  So anything we can do to vote in-person (if possible) will be preferable than to trust that our mail-in votes will be fairly counted.  Those who can't vote in-person should not be forced to, and those who can should take proper precautions (slow voting hours, wearing protective masks, etc.) to ensure that Trump can't steal the vote.

Sounds like a plan, and you're not alone. People are mad.

@jeanne-mayell Thank you!   I was so excited because as I read Baba's meditation it was coming across the news banner.   I was wondering if I should try to get the info but by then it was everywhere.  Now, if only they could grab Jared.  Then we'd be on our way.  Can I get an Amen?

@deetoo and @ghandigirl, Meghan McCain has speculated that Trump will replace Pence. GOP operative and CNN contributor speculated that the odds that Trump will replace Pence with Haley is "overwhelming",  because he needs a woman on the ticket to match Kamala. Betting sites are showing Haley's odds rising.

In the beginning I thought he would choose her. Then I thought she would be too smart to join that ticket. This morning I felt she would say yes.

@baba  You must have gotten the vision of Steve Bannon just before the news hit.  According to extensive coverage this morning on MSNBC, he is likely to be serving a jail sentence.  If so, that's a hit.  And, thank you for the beautiful images of light workers.

Feel a need to point out the karmic justice of Bannon getting arrested on a boat by USPS POLICE!!!!

Also, while we are being told that the USPS policies are held off, we are just being lied to. It was in NYT and LA Times that they won't let sorting  machines be plugged back in, and so much mail is piling up it's starting to rot, including things like dead baby chicks.
