Hawley more than anyone else needs to be censured. My sense is that he's the one that would be the "smart trump" and my personal preference would be for outright expulsion.
I think McConnell's speech should lead to that for any number of senators, I mean what is the difference between that and when senators were expelled for the confederate rebellion? One could argue the senators that met the defence, Cruz, Graham and Lee should also face expulsion for the very same reason.
At the very least, the logical approach in terms of elections is to message "un-American" and attach it to their names, as well as the Trump name. The Trump movement needs to be separated from Americans who are hurting and not being heard vs baseless conspiracy that has engulfed and brainwashed that base. Reality is the ground has been laid for progressives to show why progressives offer real solutions, and I hope it's taken.
@baba , in the days after the 2016 election I saw Mango in prison stripes, behind bars. I was in church of all places when I saw that. I've posted about it here several times. In the last 4+ years, those here have said no, but I've never been able to shake the feeling I got when seeing it.
As for what @tesseract has said about interpretation, I agree. The same can be said for answered prayers. I prayed for years (many moons ago) to have unconditional love in my life. I was thinking romance. After adopting my third rescue dog, without understanding my compulsion to do so, I finally had that a-ha moment that kept me from becoming a crazy dog lady. I stopped saying that prayer. I pray differently now, with less expectation, and typically asking for the highest & best for all concerned. I often include a request to spot the answer when it comes. I prayed for months to find a way to keep my father in assisted living when Covid restrictions are lifted. It would not be healthy for either of us for him to return to my home & I don't want to have to fight with him or reject him. He's started a romance with a woman at the home. He's loving the attention. It wasn't something I'd considered, & starting a romance 6 months after the loss of one's spouse of 63 years isn't what anyone expected. His narcissism & choices lead to his karma-just like the judgement of family members about his choices is their karma. It wasn't an answer I expected, but I can see it is an answer. Sometimes we even will get a simple answer-no. We simply don't interpret things that way. We tend to see it as an unanswered prayer (because it's not what we wanted).
Pelosi has started talk of an investigative committee on the insurrection. The DOJ has barely begun its work. DC, New York & Georgia have criminal investugstions beginning. He's far from being acquitted in many cases/circles.
@seeker4. About Mitch McConnell leaving: I did get that -- I had puled the Death card and felt his vehement push away from the GOP Trumpers and I thought he was saying, "That's it. I'm leaving!". But I think he was talked into staying and simply taking the stand that he's taken and seeing if he would be able to withstand the GOP anger towards him. So far, he's survived. It remains to be seen if he can continue to survive but I think he will. He is hoping he'll take back the Senate in 2022.
A report about McConnell supporting a bill requiring a Democratic governor (like Bashear in KY) to replace a Republican senator (like MM or Rand Paul) with another Republican (or vice versa, I assume) should he leave the Senate early came out today.

I see a sunrise over the US and then the colors pink and white. Something new is born/created which causes change for the better. The energy is very female. The colors light blue and white also appeared at the end. All people will benefit from whatever this is.
I asked what happens to those who acted badly with T, like Cruz and heard, “left behind”. They will become insignificant and unimportant.

The night before I had a very clear and crisp dream I was on a small boat zipping through the ocean looking at a beautiful pink sunset and suddenly my boat turned into a hovercraft and I was zipping over the ocean and then the land. Then I clearly heard the word "hovercraft technology". It was so clear I went ahead and bought a domain with that phrase (I am a website designer). Do you think it might be a message that hovercraft technology might get big, like real big, in the near future?
@thirdeyestudio I don’t know much about hovercraft as such but I did get something about new kind of hover car being introduced for August this year in my predictions for the Read the Future night. I wonder if there is any relationship between the dream and the prediction?
