This is what I got today (sadly no Smokey Bear or Uncle Sam today!):
I see Ted Cruz crying.
I see M. McConnell and hear, “I quit!”
When I look at whether T is convicted in the impeachment, I get that it is still undecided.
When I see T. preparing for the impeachment, I see a little Putin sitting on his shoulder and smiling. Not sure what this means.
I keep hearing “Enquirer”. Something about this and the hush money situation becomes relevant again?
@baba - I get the feeling that the little Putin on the tRump's shoulder ( like the devil/imp sitting on cartoon shoulders urging the characters to do "bad things" Putin is urging tRump to do the "bad things" and that ... like in the cartoons... the hapless character acts out the imp's urges and when caught? The devil/imp disappears in a poof leaving the character holding the bag. There is enough video evidence hacked and downloaded from Parler that the sack of feces tRump opened up will be on him and his alone... Putin will withdraw to keep from being known as the mover behind the shaker.
Also... once that happens Cruz and his compadres will also be implicated and left holding the bag. McConnell is storming off and quitting because Schumer will not allow the filibuster to remain and McConnell's power to disrupt and block will fade rapidly. No power? No McConnell! I see the GOP falling apart as they turn on each other like a pack of wild dogs... destroying themselves from within their own party.

When I focus on the Senate GOP members, I see dirty, swirling water going down a sewer. It's just a matter of time. Tick tock. I'm also feeling between now and sometime in March, GOP members will either not be running again (like Rob Portman today) or perhaps switching sides. I'm seeing a changes with 3 members all together. Mitch's power will be sunk. Not seeing him around. He's holding Custer's Last Stand at the moment. Maybe he's #3.
I don't have visions, but I think that the chances that Trump will be convicted in the Senate is zilch.
Sorry, but it is true.
Republicans are cowards, and they will not miraculously grow a spine when they have been without one for the last four years. They know that if they vote against Trump, they will probably be challenged in the primary and lose their seats. Also, they are banking on Democrats to continue to play by the rules and be safe.
But these Republicans have already lost. If they vote for Trump, they will lose the support of independent and Democrats who otherwise would consider giving them their vote. After all, why would you vote for someone who condones terrorism and supports someone who incites terrorists? And if they lose their seats to a MAGA supporter in the primary, then the same result would happen.
In short, as long as Trump is alive and trying to make noise, then Republicans will war with each other, while Democrats will be reminded constantly of the terroristic threat that is MAGA and will stay united. There is a chance that this impeachment trial will succeed in destroying the Republican party because Trump will refuse to stay quiet whether he is convicted or not. Trump will go after his perceived enemies, and the specter of another Trump term will have Democrats voting in the polls with furor while the brainwashed Trumpers will wonder if they should vote at all since the system is "rigged" against them.
Regardless, Republicans will pay the costs for their actions, one way or another. And if the Democrats manage to take more seats in 2022 and make the Republicans a super minority, then we can finally make sweeping reforms and deposit the Republicans and Trump into the dustbin of history where they belong.

@allyn I often like to devils advocate Allyn - but I’m 100% in agreement. There’s almost zero chance of a conviction. BUT - there’s plenty of opportunities from New York which I feel is more fruitful.
And a Republican Party in chaos from the trial is the best outcome one can hope for - as long as the Democrats don’t get sucked into it. While they’re infighting we need to be passing bills into law.

@dannyboy IMO the value of having an impeachment trial is that it will bring all the evidence out in the open, where the public can be aware of it. If done well, it will be like turning over a rock to see what lives under it. We've got to turn that rock over and expose all the creepy-crawlies to the sunlight.
