They need to act on the 25th Amendment before he pardons himself. But I could see Mike Pence (as Acting President) dangling the offer of a pardon to T if he would simply leave and not fight a 25th Amendment process.

@snowbird  Perhaps, but would the Orange One believe him and/or trust him to follow through since in his mind Pence has already betrayed him by certifying the EC?

A Capitol Police office has died from injuries received yesterday.

Very sad.

Hoping the man who calls himself president  can somehow be held responsible for contributing to their death.

Look where unquestioned loyalty got Thomas Cromwell. Despots don't care.

Ooh!  Been reading the Wolf Hall books?  Me too. Political maneuvering techniques haven't changed much in 500 years, probably in millennia.

Since birth!

Love the shows, too. WH not as Hollywood entertaining as the Tudors version but much more historically accurate, both in fact and actor appearance.

@lovendures, Rachel Maddow just stated the earlier reports about the death of the Capitol Police officer were in error.  He is currently reported to be in critical condition.  I pray that he pulls through.

@journeywithme2. He should not be allowed to tweet or put out any messages again.  I'm sorry that Twitter can't get it right. That should have been permanent. Although  I feel everyone on earth is savable, he is too sick.

@journeywithme2, What the hell is wrong with Twitter?  I heard that they blocked him for 12 hours, which I thought was ridiculous and hoped they extended that.  If Facebook could close him down, Twitter certainly can.

@deetoo I think - but have no way to really know - based on the exactly two things he's tweeted beside that video, someone took control of his account and changed the passwords on him.  That's the only thing I can think of.  He's probably allowed to write anything he wants to tweet about on a piece of paper, but that's the extent of where 99% of those things go.

Or, I'll wake up tomorrow and he'll have started a "Free Sidney Powell" fundraising gig that direct deposits into one of his bank accounts.  I don't know. ??‍♂️
