@laura-f I'm curious where you've heard this, not because I doubt your word, but because I need to try to keep track of it so I can notify my workplace. I'm currently on medical quarantine due to health conditions until the shelter-in-place order is rescinded, and the last info I had about it was that it was extended through May 4. Any info or links would be appreciated.
It's in the LA Times, SF Chronicle, Sac Bee, NY Times, Washington Post. You can also see if the governor's briefings are on YouTube. He said this about a week ago. Sorry, no time today to track down links for you, but the info is out there.
And the May 4 deadline is no longer valid. End of May at the earliest is the last I heard, although individual municipalities may have different timelines.
