i hope we will all be prepared for the inevitable backlash that American history has shown to have occurred after each and every step forward for racial and social justice.  I will not link to the video of Rochester, NY police spraying pepper directly into the eyes of a handcuffed 9 year old suicidal Black girl today.  Just before the [removed] assaulted her, they told her she was ''acting like a child''.  She answered "I am a child."
