@laura-f

I have been having flashes of WWII in my brain and the genocide that Hitler and the Nazi's were responsible for lately. I truly feel in my deepest part of my self that the Orange Nightmare, his supporters, Betsy Cruella DeVos, and all those supporting the POTUS (GOPers in FL, AZ, etc.) are actually complicit in trying to actively kill Americans - especially OLDER Americans - in order to save $$ for themselves from healthcare/medicare/medicaid, Social Security etc.  I firmly believe they want us to die. I just wish the dems had enough spine to come right out and say so on TV.

I also (while typing this) saw an Angel with a trumpet blasting it down upon us. OK ....I guess they will only be partly successful (the thousands who have died already and thousands more to come) but pay the biggest price someday soon. Until then... stay strong, send light and love and....Namaste!

@triciact it’s an awful thing to think, but I agree with you. They are like Scrooge in A Christmas Story, when confronted with all the deaths from starvation and disease, he said, and he was reflecting a view  that Dickens who grew up poor knew well-- that all those deaths would "decrease the surplus population.”

@lowtide - Ha!! I hadn't even thought of that :)

@bluebelle - thank you! How cool that you pulled Adjustment as well?! I absolutely agree - karma and justice are on the way. We have to hang in there. Each week, I think - last week was so heavy maybe it will let up now? It hasn't, as evidenced by so many of us posting about depression, heaviness, difficulty enduring. But if we can all just hang in there, I think we are getting the signs that justice and karma are on the way!

I just read in the NY Times about a 30 year old Texas man who died after attending a COVID party.  The premise of these parties is to either prove the virus is a hoax, or to intentionally expose people to the virus in order to gain immunity.

This man attended the gathering with an infected person, to test whether the coronavirus was real.  Just before he died, the man told his nurse:  “I think I made a mistake.  I thought this was a hoax, but it’s not.”

There are no words ...

Yes.. I have been saying this for a while.. that they knew.. that the actions they took to pad their bank accounts before the market fluctuations crashed and wreaked havoc ( I am looking at those who attended that meeting then sold off stocks and purchased those that would prosper from the Pandemic.. like online software support etc etc ..Kelly Loefller for one)..they KNEW those delays would pick off the most vulnerable in our society (elders and POC) and were/are counting on population decreases especially in these sectors. I think they know very very well what they are about.  I just focus on sending Light and Love to expose the Truth and wake up the people to stop this genocide of citizens and environment.

@deetoo  That is powerful. He is not the first sorry person who listened to Donald Trump on the virus.  Here is the link to the whole story https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/12/us/30-year-old-covid-party-death.html

I wonder whether an utterly irresponsible & amoral Governor such as DeSantis can be sued in a statewide class action suit? After all, demanding that schools re-open despite surging infection levels indicates the epitome of poor judgement and negligence...and the scientific data is definitely not on their side.. Betsy de Vos too: THEIR kids are not attending school so what the hell do they care? They need to be made PERSONALLY LIABLE for their gross negligence and abuse of public trust..it is equivalent to demanding that unarmed soldiers be sent into a raging war zone for strictly political reasons. When the inevitable slaughter occurs, General di Santos and de Vos will just shrug and walk away scott free...is there a precedent for this? Allyn: Can this legally be done? Likewise, can Americans launch a country-wide class action suit over Rump's bungling of our Covid response? He has blood on his hands and couldn't care less. I feel the Collective has to be more action oriented in their outrage...not violence or looting but making these clowns personally accountable for their actions...I realize we can vote them out but that takes too long...too much damage will have been done by then...

I was wondering, will anti-vaxxers change from the pandemic? I hear from the site that people will embrace science in the future.

Now T is trying to discredit CDC and Fauci.  When are the Republicans going to say enough is enough? Oh wait never!!!

"The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19," read a tweet written by the game show host and conservative commentator Chuck Woolery that the president shared with his over 83 million followers on Twitter on Monday morning. "Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most ,that we are told to trust. I think it's all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I'm sick of it."

The attacks on doctors and the nation's leading infectious disease scientists, in the middle of a pandemic, came as the White House has sought to discredit Fauci, a member of its coronavirus task force.

Over the weekend, it provided a document to several media outlets that contained a misleading list of comments made by Fauci, in an effort to damage his reputation.

Fauci has found himself a target of Trump and his supporters as he paints a less rosy picture of the pandemic than do the president and his top political appointees. His approach has earned him praise from leading public health experts.
