Note that all of the people who saw these unprecedented fires in advance either are from LA or the West Coast regions that are fire prone. We tend to see what we are most concerned about, and they were all very involved in those fires, even though no one could have understood something as cataclysmic happening in LA. We are in a new paradigm now.

@baba This is an important hit, Baba. The 1980's some holistic communities were raving about a pole shift, which gave everyone the impression that it would have cataclysmic consequences, like in that movie Greenland. But there have been many pole shifts over the last millenium with no extreme results. And there has been no evidence it affected the climate.
Still, what's happening is epic in the sense that it is supposed to make a complete shift every 300,000 years but has been long overdue, and according to this article, has not shifted in over 780,000 years. So it's a significant hit that you picked up on on how fast it is now accelerating.
Scientists say it occurs because the magnet molten iron under the earth's crust is shifting for unpredictable reasons, and it's moving eastward from Canada to Russia. The shift does not change the location of the north and south poles where all longitudinal lines meet, but it does change where magnetic true north and magnetic true south are located.
It affects navigation systems. And I wonder if it affects migrating birds and insects.
