This U.S. women just helped saved 10 girls from the Afghan girls robotic team and helped them flee Afghanistan THIS WEEK.  She followed her intuition.  She is trying to get the 25 remaining ones out.  Let's send positive energy and prayers their way.

@lovendures I pray these keep these girls safe and their whereabouts unknown now that they've received international attention.  I tried to send angels to the remaining girls but they will need to move quickly now that media attention to them has gone viral. Sent angels to protect the ones in Qatar. I hope they obscure their identities and go further away from that part of the world.

I will also add this for someone who needs to binge watch the good news:  The CBS Evening News On the Road with Steve Hartman archives.  Every Friday night the last story is a Steve Hartman story that is generally designed to make the anchor cry.  It also shows up again on CBS Sunday Morning which is generally the only news show (aside from Last Week Tonight - don’t judge me!) we make time in our schedule for each week.

Roads that can charge your car while you drive???

Yep! We are developing a wireless EV charging road  in Indiana.  Now that is a great idea!

As I continue to look for “good news” to post in this thread, today Apple gave me a leg up - Their News Plus service has a “Good news” curation tool that I’ve now “loved” and set to “Show more like this”. I’m hoping this link works:

This was the best video I have seen all summer!

Unbelievably talented 11 UK drummer Nadi Bushell was invited on stage to perform with her idols Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters at the Forum in Los Angeles 2 nights ago.  This young lady was incredible and hearing her father screaming in joy was epic.  I dare you not to fall in love with this moment.

But things kicked up a notch at the L.A. Forum last night when Bushell, 11, was the band's special guest during their traditional show-ending jam on "Everlong." After roadies rolled out an extra set of drums in front of Taylor Hawkins' kit, Grohl explained the reason for the double-down. "There was this person ... one day I pick up my phone and my friends are all texting me like, 'Have you seen this s---?'" he told the crowd. "And I click on the link and I look at it and I see it's someone is challenging me to a drum-off," he continued as the audience roared. "So I'm like, 'Well, isn't that nice?'"

He said he thought it was whatever and brushed it off, until his friends explained to him that it was the real deal and that he had to step up to the challenge. By now you probably know that, as Grohl related, "she whips my f----' a-- in front of the entire planet."

The first link is the one where you hear her father going crazy while she plays. The second one is of a better angel of her and has the intro of how Grohl was inspired by her during the pandemic.
