Iran!

Sending  lots of love to our sisters ( and activist brothers) in Iran.

By now, most everyone must be aware of what is happening in Iran.

Their beautiful and brave women are leading a revolution and their country will never be the same.  At Sharif University, brave faculty created a human chain trying to protect students from police.

Below  is recent protest art.

I love protest art!!

A lot has been happening in Iran.  Really, what a time to be a citizen of Earth!  So much is occurring. Life changes taking place.  I have so much respect for those who are trying to better their countries.  Trying to rise up their nation to higher levels.

Sending lots of prayers to Iranian citizens fighting for their lives and against a brutal government.

2 recent sports related Iranian things have come to mind.

First, the Iranian World Cup soccer team. The families of Iran’s World Cup soccer team had been threatened with imprisonment and torture if the players failed to “behave” ahead of the match against the USA last Tuesday.  (During the first match, the Iranian team protested their national anthem and refused to sing it). After the US won, there were pro US celebrations through out Iran.

I hope the U.S. gets this one right.  I hope the players can come home safely and that their families remain safe.  The Iranian government has a violent temper.

Second,  the family home of Iranian rock climber Elnaz Rekabi has been demolished, according to the pro-reform news outlet IranWire, after she rose to international prominence this fall for competing with her head uncovered.
