Last night I took a look at my daughter's twitter account, which I secretly do from time to time, and learned she was in a serious car crash. I had so much trouble getting to sleep that after two hours I overmedicated myself and later fell in the bathroom in the middle of the night hitting my head on the side of the tub, albeit lightly. Must have had an angel on my shoulder because I could have hurt myself much, much more than I did.
I woke up in a terrible state and left two calm (while panicking) messages for my ex. I think they didn't tell me because unmedicated I would have driven down to them in hysterics. Neither of them takes the time to see that I am so much better now.
She is okay, my ex said. She might have a slight concussion he said, and her car is totaled.
This happened TUESDAY. I found out from a post online on THURSDAY. Besides intensely worrying about her, I can't hardly process how much neither one of them telling me, and finding out like that, has hurt me. To be so out of the loop and never knowing what is happening in her world, her continued silence, even though she called in July to make peace, is maddening.
I had suggested we three meet, my ex, her, and me, during the Thanksgiving weekend and no one bothered to respond. It's just beyond hurtful to be locked out and away from her. I miss her every single day. They didn't let me know they both had Covid until months afterward. And although I love them both I am still persona non gratis.
I let my ex know from now on he must tell me how she is, since she doesn't. I told him I can't fully support her if I don't know if she is sick, hurt, or traumatized. I told him I am different now and would not be hysterical. He agreed.
It is a lonely place to be. Send us all some light but send the most to me. This truly depresses and upsets me.
Just an update: I've gotten past the five-day testing thing, all negative tests and no symptoms, so I appear to be okay. My mom is still quarantining until next Friday, and although she seems to be doing better physically (she's starting to cough up a lot of stuff, which is good), she is still extremely fatigued after even the lightest efforts. Mentally she's very down, partly because it's winter so there's not as much sunlight (she's a leo...she lives for sunlight! 😁) and she can't get outside to work in the garden/yard, but also because this has really brought her up short about her age and how dependent she is on my sister and I, and I don't think it's sitting well with her.
Anyway, prayers, love, and energy for her would be very much appreciated.
@tgraf66 I can understand that - when I herniated the 2 discs in my back this past June... and lost all summer and most of fall as well as having to deal with physical limitations I had to accept that at 67 I can not do it all myself anymore... a very hard thing to admit. SAD is a thing too. I will 🙏🏻💚🙏🏻 for your mom daily as I empathize with her.

@baba Thank you, Baba. There has been an uptick in violence in recent weeks around the country. So I am always especially vigilant about surrounding Obama with protection. I send angels to his side and see them whirling around him and then gathering above his crown and dropping a cascading light that is bullet and bomb proof.
The shield they form around him sparks images of the shield they erected the day he was first elected to the presidency and walked out onto a Chicago platform with his family to a joyous crowd.

I got so frustrated I told one of them - ok ... so even if you chose to believe that? Without following the trail to the truth? You are going to NOT vote? Or even worse vote for Herschel???? Warnock has proven himself as one who IS working for the people of Georgia already... Herschel is at best a former football star and hero with resultant brain damage being a useful puppet for the GQP!! A loose cannon!! Stop!! Think!!! Do your due diligence!!! Then??? Weigh the consequences of your vote.... make the choice you believe is in the best interest of our state, our Democracy.
On a side note there... Sen. Lindsay Graham complied with his subpoena after months of evasion and testified for over 2 hours to Fani Willis Grand Jury on the infamous phone calls made to Raffensperger.

Jeanne said this is a place to ask for heart strength. I sorely need some. I am sick again and in pain again on a vacation week again. I am not catching many breaks.
Trying to say stop to negative thoughts and repeating the word HEALING but without the heart strength it rings hollow.
I cannot bring myself to read about the latest murders. It weakens me. I feel overly saturated and am tagging out for a bit.

Asking for prayers for our school children and their families and their teachers. Yesterday was a day of terror for many of our children, and their parents.
many of my friends and former co-workers have children in public school, many I have known and I love and have watched grow up. It pains me to know of their terror and PTSD here in a red red area..knowing their parents do NOT support gun control laws and seem to think that arming teachers is the way to go. Yes they are of the GQP persuasion. They have voted for Kemp and have voted for Herschel Walker. It pains me to see that they have been blinded to all that is so wrong with all of that!! There is no easy solution to active mass shooters... but not allowing access to assault rifles ... especially to those under 25 years old...seems a good place to start!!!
I am asking for prayers for all of our nation as it seems these "active shooter hoaxes " are ramping up.. and then... real ones actually occurring still.... We have a generation growing up with PTSD from attending public school?!?!?!? Does anyone have any idea on how we can stop/change this war on our children???
@journeywithme2 Hi, I don’t know how America can change itself around. I know in our case with the Port Arthur massacre, I think everyone could see them selves there, it was a place we had been to or were hoping or planning to go to. I myself had been there a couple of months before and had coffee in the cafe. We also had a Prime Minister who acted. I guess maybe the thought it could have been my family, myself, made people happy to comply. We were in the right frame of mind to act and accept the change. On another level our psyche tends to be more mateship and a fair go rather than personal freedom over everything. So we came from a different place.

@matildagirl I would think being a mother , and your child in school is on lock down...LEO swarming the school looking for the "active shooter" and the local hospital getting ready for multiple trauma patients would be enough to make them stop and think!!!!
Sadly... most answer here that they think the teachers should have a weapon!!!! Excuse me.... have you had combat practice? have you ever had to kill a living being? On top of all the other BS you are putting teachers through? You want them to be trained to kill?

I am really hoping Joe Biden will help lead us out of here. He is anti assault weapons.
The worship of guns and generational isolation, abuse and cult fringes of our country being hateful, is ingrained in many, but most of us want common sense gun laws. We have to keep the pressure up in every way we can. We have to continue to do character building education in our schools. We have to continue using anti bullying curriculum.
It is official. My child is not allowing me to visit.
