@saibh

I agree with all the responses you have received here. Your son “leaving the nest” is definitely a big life change! The tarot reading certainly fits that.

And what @ghandigirl said *really* resonates: “Most worries don't come to pass, and if they do, you've exhausted yourself and can't deal as effectively due to worrying.”

Often easier said than done (I speak from experience!), but a solid, grounded reminder, nonetheless. Which reminds me, do you do or know of any grounding exercises you can do? That might help you center yourself and allow the worrying to drain into the earth and bring you some calm.

Also, as @baba said, I find it helps me to also send or visualize angels/guardian angels to travel with me (or my loved ones) and surround them and everyone around them as they travel; guiding and protecting.

@bluebelle Thank you! I'm feeling a lot less anxious and a lot more peaceful, so your efforts, and those of the community, are working! xoxo

I agree with what others have said @saibh.

Having had a daughter move out of state (and a second daughter who is extending her temporary move out of state for an extra number of months) I would say separation totally fits.  It can be very painful to be separated from your children especially when it is a move far away.

I also think the reader should have approached the reading differently.  @Bluebelle is right.  Divorce/Separation was a big thing to throw out there and cards have many different meanings.

Thanks all who chimed in and told me to take a deep breath ;) The boys arrived safely ... it's more than 100 degrees, and the a/c in my son's new apartment doesn't work, so they fell asleep and woke up in an 86 degree space. Feeling glad I didn't join them now! I guess we'll see if my kiddo is ready for Texas ... lol!

I appreciate the calming presence of mind you all gifted me.

@lynn, I know that the hearing for your client is this afternoon.  I'm holding you, your client, the judge and opposing counsel in prayer.  May divine wisdom and compassion prevail.

Sending out a prayer request for all of those people who are on the missing tourist submarine, the Titan.  I’ve just lit a candle and am praying for them.   May spirit surround them with protection, comfort and peace.  And may divine light guide the path of the rescue team in their search to locate them.

@deetoo oh, thank you, dear Deetoo, for putting this prayer request out. I have been thinking about them constantly and I think the whole world has been praying.

When I first heard about it yesterday, I sent angels to them, and I had a vision of them descending rapidly with angels flying all around them in a spiral as their craft descended.  I felt they were in distress trying to get help and it’s likely they had not reached the bottom at that point.

I learned last night that the ship on the surface lost communication an hour or so into the dissent which means they had not reached the bottom when something  went wrong.

I would imagine that the experts understand that they may have lost control during the descent, and are trying to project what direction they would have gone, if something malfunctioned. They still have about 24 hours but I’m not sure what happens to a craft when it his bottom at a velocity it was not controlled. However, I could be wrong that they lost control on the way down. It might be just that they lost communication on the way down.

One thing is for sure, every possible thing is being done to locate them.

I also want to send prayers to all the migrant people lost at sea in the Mediterranean last week.

@deetoo Thank you, and thanks to everyone who sent my client and me good energy and wishes. The hearing was rescheduled to February 2024, for me to submit evidence that I think it not necessary and kind of nuts, but at least the judge gave me plenty of time. The gov't attorney was horrible, but the worst part was the judge deferred way to much to him. That said, all is not lost, and the judge was both deferential to the gov't and accommodating of my client (or as accommodating as he could be within his unreasonable request).

I will keep everyone updated on how this all goes. If you can, please send me some good energy that I'll be able to get what the court is looking for. Thanks everyone!

@lynn,

Thanks for updating us.  Between now and then I will pray that the judge will have a softening of his heart.  Thank you for all the good work you do.  💜

@lynn

Interesting.  I started tuning in a little after 1 pm and my intuition said that the judge needed encouragement to "do the right thing." I kept trying to visualize ways to inspire better judgement on his part then a gospel choir appeared in the courtroom in my imagination, clapping and singing with fervor, some version of an impromptu song, yes, "Do the Right Thing!"

Please do keep us appraised so we can marshal our forces again when needed. It may sound wacky but it can't hurt.

@raincloud  OMG your intuition was completely right. The judge soooo needed encouragement to do the right thing. I'm not sure I could have described it any better. It's like he was just allowing himself to be led by the gov't atty who has been described by some of my colleagues are a combination of lazy and ill-prepared, yet that person was essentially running the show and egging on the judge (and insulting me to boot, the nerve).

That said, although his demands were kind of ridiculous, he gave me plenty of time to try to get the information he wants to see. Was he giving me a lot of time so he can deny the case yet feel like he was being fair? Or will he be inclined to grant the case but just wants to see more information before he does? Hard to say, but it could have gone worse, so thanks to all of you for your good vibes. And it's not wacky at all. I feel bad for my coworkers who don't know you can summon energy to help your cases. (Not that I could tell them, good grief they'd think I'm nuts, LOL!)

@lovendures It's not really as much time as it sounds. Time flies and it takes time to do research and get evidence in order in a way the court wants to see it. And, if the outcome is uncertain, sometimes delays are not the worst thing. Every day an immigrant is in the U.S. is one day less that s/he is back in their home country and in danger.

@deetoo Yes, please pray for the softening of this judge's heart. Thank you for your support! xoxo

Thanks again, everyone!

@lynn I have thought a lot about how intuition etc. works with practicing law. Definitely seen it in action in certain cases. I wonder if certain clients are even “sent” so that I can be helped in helping them if that makes sense.

Of course I do not substitute  feelings or intuition for legal/ethical responsibilities or work.

Also wonder how attorney client privilege works in a group like this one=) Seriously, though…

@mkay  I also feel some of my clients are sent to me for a reason -- for me to serve as a conduit to a better life for them. And I think I've always practiced intuitively, because I've always lived intuitively, I just wouldn't have called it that. Now I realize why I'm often able to pull rabbits out of hats when my other colleagues sometimes can't. It's not that I'm a legal genius, it's that I summons the forces of good in service of my clients. I even have some friends at work who are more formally religious and when I've got a hard case, I ask them to pray for my clients. I ask for all sorts of help, spiritual, religious, whatever it available.

And you're right that it's not a substitute for the hard work of practicing law, but I use whatever intuitive gifts I have in conjunction with the more formal work. Now that I am aware that this is what I am doing, it actually gives me more confidence. I don't get rattled easily because I know I have unseen forces rooting for me and my client. I turn things over to the higher power and ask for the best outcome. If/when things don't turn out the way I hoped they would, then at least I know that I pulled out all the stops and did everything I could.

We should probably move this topic to another thread, but I'd he interested to know how others work their gifts into their work. I'm sure there are some great stories out there.

Asking for prayers for my son and his partner. He is giving up smoking and trying to get his medical issues addressed for improved health. She came off of her Lexapro .. "I am tired of being numb and not feeling" for her depression and anxiety and eating issues. They are working together to heal together and its tough but they are doing it together and working through issues as they come up. Any Light,Love and Healing energies that can be sent are most welcome and we are most thankful for.

@cc21

Here are 2 grounding exercises I have done with students and do myself too.

Close your eyes and listen. What do you hear far away? What do you hear in the room? What do you hear in your body?

Turtle Hug is three deep breaths and cross your arms over your chest and squeeze hug yourself. This calms down the central nervous system.

https://www.unisa.edu.au/media-centre/Releases/2023/exercise-more-effective-than-medicines-to-manage-mental-health/

University of South Australia researchers are calling for exercise to be a mainstay approach for managing depression as a new study shows that physical activity is 1.5 times more effective than counselling or the leading medications.

This may be of interest as they are finding exercise can really help with depression and it is something they can do together, even if it’s just going for a walk and it’s free.

Regards to all
