I pray he finds a job soon and your home situation is rectified. I would have him apply for unemployment right away since it's a process, especially now. ? ?
I am praying for you and your fiance's peace, protection, and a resolution to your current challenges. I agree with @TriciaCT about talking with your landlord and applying for unemployment. It's wonderful to hear that his family is so supportive.

I wanted to share an update about my friend James.
First, I would like to thank all of you for your continued prayers for James and his family. He still needs them.
But (and here is the awesome news part) today they officially moved his ventilator out of his room. He also is off all oxygen right now. He also spoke for the first time today (not easy since he has a trach with a t-piece insert). He also asked his daughter to read to the whole family from a book. He was able to say everyones name.
He asked his wife to tell him his story, what had happened to him during his fight for life. As she recounted his life and death struggle, they both were in tears.
He was on a vent for 4 weeks! Do you know how incredible it is that he has made it to this point in his battle with Covid-19? He truly has had a miraculous journey so far.
Please continue to pray for him. He has been very nauseous, has been depressed ( until today), and is exhausted.
