@lovendures I will keep them in my prayers. My heart breaks for all affected. My constant prayer for peace everywhere will continue. ❤️☮️
Praying ????? Also praying that the new measures proposed and passed by the House make it thru the Senate- both of the 20 something male shooters bought their weapons mere days before carrying out their assaults. We have GOT to enact these laws!!! " prayers and condolences" are not enough?
Gang, I have a very honest prayer request for you right now. Our community spread has reached a point where our hospitals are filling. A very, very dear person to me is now in the larger hospital a few towns over, completely unresponsive, on a ventilator, her organs shutting down. She is one of the nicest people you could ever meet, and I've worked with one of her wonderful sons (and her daughter) in several community theater projects. They're the first to arrive and lend a hand at any community event. They're the last to leave and help clean up and tear down at the end. They'd give you the shirts off their backs, the food on their shelves, and money in their wallets if you truly needed it. The town she hails from is a deeply conservative, deeply religious, deeply Dutch community that has essentially taken a "Jesus will protect us" attitude toward this whole thing. In the last week alone they've lost several prominent community members. My heart was breaking for them then, but now that it's this woman, this family, this human in particular I don't know that the pieces of that broken heart left can reassemble. I just keep seeing the sweet smile of her kids, their positive "can-do" attitudes... I am devastated for them.
May your friend know she is deeply loved. May she be held in love and feel that love as she is being cared for in the hospital. May her children and family feel that love as well.
No matter what the outcome, I know you will help heal their family through the arts and other supportive ways. Just as this beautiful family has given to you when in need, you have and will continue to do so for them. It is who you are. You started by coming here right?
A big hug to you, I feel you sorrow and pain. We can't forget that while some states, some countries are seeing less cases, others are on a dramatic rise. It is a lot to hold in our hearts. Our world continues to grieve even as the rays of light are emerging.
@dannyboy I’m so very sorry. The family is fortunate to have your friendship and they are going to need you. As does your sweet friend who is so ill. Many prayers and healing blessings coming their way.
Thank you everyone for the prayers for this family. Unfortunately we just received word that she passed away. If you could lift the rest of the family in light and love with me, it would be greatly appreciated. This thing is the worst.
Shortly after I wrote my message to you, I closed my eyes and thought again of your friend. I saw an angel from the shoulders down with large wings. It was in the style of how a Byzantine icon would depict an angel. The wings flapped forward with a swoosh and although I couldn't see your friend, I felt the wings cover her. I sensed she had passed or was about to pass. I felt the message was to give you comfort, that she was with angels and they were taking her home.
I am so sorry Dannyboy. I believe everything I wrote earlier. You will help this family you care about to heal. She knows this as well. I don't know how you will do it, but your actions will make a difference.
Wow! Alabama has gotten hammered with tornadoes today, one which was on the ground for 100 straight miles. Now Georgia is getting into the act with schools and even the airport isn the path. Prayers for all of our Alabama and Georgia friends.
