After the insurrection of the 6th, I snapped and pretty much told off the Trump supporting Christians from my former church I recently cut ties with on Facebook. It wasn't nice, but it sure was liberating and one particular individual felt the wrath of my tongue.
It's rare for me to speak up and out like that and it's not that I haven't cared about Trump's actions (I do), but I've always had a hard time speaking out (fear of backlash and lack of confidence) and something about the insurrection just broke me. I came out like a roaring lion that had been locked in a cage.
Anyway, ever since taking that step, I have been praying over myself, but I'm also requesting prayer of protection and strength from my brothers and sisters of the light. I do not trust Trump supporters and yes, I will defend myself from them if need to be.

@carmen you have my prayers. I also unfriended some family and friends who are trying to normalize this terrorist event. No you can’t compare this at all to BLM. No you can’t say it was antifa. No you can’t say any of that crap. Stop talking but they won’t. So I block, delete, unfriend, etc. I will wrap myself in peace and light and hope to remove anything that doesn’t bring me peace. That’s my hope for this new year. I will pray for you and send you love peace and light. ❤️☮️
My nerves are just... gone.
I spend my days professionally talking to people all over the country, nominally about furniture, but let's get real: you can't have empathy in any degree these days without feeling all the pain, fear and angst.
I broke down at work Tuesday, because I could feel Wednesday coming.
I haven't been back. I don't know if I can. I am terrified of letting my family down, but I am equally terrified of letting anyone else's emotions into my head right now, too.
I can't take any more of the crazy -- my tank is too full as is.
You are right to take care of your mental health in any way you need to. A little cocooning from the world may help your equilibrium. Be selfish for a little bit, it will all be there when you come back. ❤️
Update - my friend's husband was moved to ICU today. Please continue to send him light (his name is Derek.) Thanks.
Update - Derek is still in ICU. After getting a bit worse for a day (no ventilator yet) he is still bad, but not getting worse. However, he is also not showing any improvement after a week. If you can keep sending him light and keeping him in your prayers it would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hello everyone.
I am asking for prayers for a family member who is currently in the hospital. This is her third trip to the hospital in a month, the first for emergency surgery related to a perforated ulcer. Now, complications from that surgery and her bowel.
She was unable to be admitted to her local hospital and was transported to a larger one by ambulance today. The hospitals are over capacity where she lives in Southern California.
Her name is Jordana and her family members are very concerned. It has been a difficult 12 months for them all. She is in her 40's with 2 older teenagers and a husband who has had his own health issues to overcome this year.

Jordana had emergency surgery tonight and is in recovery now. I appreciate the prayers and energy you have sent her way. I am hopeful she will heal soon and be on the road to recovery without any further complications.

I humbly ask for a little healing for myself. I've had a bad ear ache since Thursday that has now felt like it's something pressing on a nerve in my head. The occasional striking pain has kept me awake at different times in the night. I will be going to my doctors office today at 3:30pmET. Would love any extra healing you can spare. ?
