I've loved this woman's music for more than 15 years, and her words often move me to think and feel and reflect (and cry!). I'm so glad she is finally getting the credit she deserves. However, I've thought for years that she's touching the front edge of the new consciousness, and her appeal crosses rural and urban, folk and country and Americana and rock. She's amazing, and this song feels like an anthem for the world, moving forward:

How long will my guitar gently weep?  Until we replace weeping with compassion.

Subscribe to Netflix?  If so, I highly recommend "And Breathe Normally," a well done, powerful Icelandic film directed by Isold Uggadottir (2018) that, among several important and topical messages, "reminds us of the power we possess, even when we think we’re helpless."

Hello to all of my light working friends:

I have been listening to the song ‘Bridge Over Trouble Waters’ by Simon and Garfunkel a lot these last few months. Maybe we are all each other’s bridge. If you need a friend I’m sailing right behind ...

Good morning everyone.  It's been a while since I last posted.  You know "lot's of things to do, little time to do it..."  I've been thinking about the Heart Warrior class and I'm trying to practice what I learn.  It is making me think, a lot and in a very good way.

Today, I made the mistake to open the TV, and of course, it was on CNN.  Old habits are difficult to change, but there is hope.  .  But God/Spirit was looking out for me.  The story that was on was inspiring and I wanted to share it with you because it made me happy.

There is a French Canadian song called "Happy People have no Stories".  Well, there is hope yet!  We just have to look for them. Have a great day everyone!

The Nubian Queen; Kandaka; Alaa Salah is the 22 year old engineering student who has been leading anti-government protests in the Sudan.  I'm enthralled with her energy; it reminds me so much of AOC.  Her chant inspires and whirls in transformative power.  This is precisely what is needed now everywhere!  Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIvJqI3XCRQ

I've been feeling quite distressed and depressed about where our country is  headed, and to the best of my ability, I've been limiting some of my news watching.  Since some of you sound as concerned and down as I have been, I want to share an experience I had this afternoon.  I think it's a gentle message from the Universe about perspective and the power of the spirit.

I live in a large county of a major metropolitan area.  This afternoon while I was on my way home, waiting at a light to cross a major highway, I suddenly saw this gaggle of geese sauntering along the middle of that highway, s-l-o-w-l-y crossing over to the other side of that big road.  It appeared to be a mamma followed by her goslings.  Traffic came to a halt.  Big trucks and cars initially honked their horns, but the little guys & gals took their own sweet time.  I saw the confident power in Mamma's stride -- she was on a mission, with her babies in tow.  Curiously everyone suddenly stopped honking at one time, and things became very quiet while the geese made their way across.   I mean, imagine!  All of this noisy traffic, these powerful, big moving machines, and nothing could deter those geese from making their way.  In those moments  the geese held the power, and we all respected that.  It felt very peaceful, as if time had stopped.  I honestly believe that time did stop.

The mystery is, to the best of my knowledge, there is no body of water that is close by.  Where did the geese come from?

I felt my heart soften.  I understood the power of the universe.  And I laughed the entire way home.
