I'm glad you enjoyed the Struts vid. I think they are terribly underappreciated-- probably because they have a throwback style that doesn't fit neatly into the mold of modern commercial pop music ( ?) Their stuff on their latest album ranges from the pop-rock anthem style of "Strange Days" to James Bond jazz lounge (Am I Talking to the Champagne?) to Stones-ish stuff to 80's hair metal and even a Kiss cover. But it's all fun, and all good.
Deetoo Yeah I see the Chrissie Hynde resemblance! Other people have suggested Luke Spiller is the secret love child of some combination of Joan Jett, Tim Curry, and Freddy Mercury. lol

The Struts are very unique... shapeshifters? I can definitely see the ' Queen ' influence ?
For a really soothing and soulful experience, I've found that this incredible artist can transport to another dimension ....

This is Jonathan Antoine, a very talented young tenor from the UK. I've been a fan of this young man since he appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 with his friend Charlotte Jaconelli. The two of them made two albums together, and he has since put out three solo albums with a mix of operatic and popular works. He also has a Christmas album coming out in a few weeks. Please enjoy the national hymn of Scotland. :-)

Thanks so much for remembering Deetoo!! I'm still on a bit of hiatus, and while I'm not anxious about tomorrow, I'm not getting great vibes about the next few months. So I'm severely limiting my online interactions, I just get too overwhelmed.
San Diego is about to go back on almost-lockdown - people here refuse to comply with the rules/common decency. We've got MAGAT motorcades blocking access to voting sites.
In the spirit of this thread, I will offer some things I've been watching and bingeing that I've been enjoying:
The Repair Shop (Netflix/BBC)
Evil (Netflix/CBS)
Enola Holmes (Netflix)
The Masked Singer (Hulu/Fox)
A very Happy Birthday Laura.
I also enjoyed Enola Holmes.
We thought of you when we began posting Thanksgiving recipes (we think of you often actually). Perhaps you might want to post a Thanksgiving one later some time this month.
Sending you love.
I understand feeling overwhelmed by online interactions, and am glad you're take care of yourself. I've been feeling similarly the past two months. Been hearing a lot about Netflix shows -- I think I need to subscribe!
Lots of love to you. ?
