To all of you who know the Wheel of Time books AND all of you who love hippies and just go with the flow ? ? ? ❤️ This video was made by Recappa Sedai, a great guy who makes wonderful WoT content. It's a fun song and well, full of tips for those who deal with problems and negativity. ?

@moonbeam I both loved and hated those books. The early ones were fantastic, and then we got five books in the middle that were several hundred pages of describing peoples clothing, and very little plot development. And then he died! Loved the ending that Brandon Sanderson was able to bring about, but this is why I no longer read series by old men until they’re all out. I’m looking at you George R.R. Martin! Have YET to start GoT books for this exact reason ?
@dannyboy, haha I understand you had trouble with the slog;-) Although I think it was so bad for us readers at the time because we were waiting and then got 'that'. It's actually not as bad when you can read them all back to back. Memory has a tendency to remember the negativity.
Difference with Martin is that Jordan knew exactly where to go and how. There were tons of notes. Rumor is: two warehouses full, but that may have been exaggerated;-)
WoT has flaws, as LoTR had, but to me it's one of only a handful of great juggernauts of fantasy.
I never liked GoT. Stopped reading the 1st book when it came out. Never understood why it became a hit series. How can ppl enjoy rape, torture and horrible murders that are described/shown so vividly? Started with Tarantino I guess. I always thought there had to be something wrong with you if you enjoyed that, but alas, with so many ppl watching ? ? ?
WoT is being developed into a TV-show, it's looking to be amazing. I am psyched. Feels like a journey of years, similar to the LoTR movies. ❤️

There has never been a TV (fantasy) show with such a diverse cast and so many ethnicities. Moraine will be portrayed by Rosemund Pike!
Ok, I'll stop fangirling and gushing now. ? ?
@moonbeam I've been waiting for them to release a real trailer and give us a premiere date! At this point it's been shot! I'm cautiously optimistic about the series - on one hand I think Harriet was detrimental to the overall telling of the story. As his editor she HAD to have realized that 40 pages of narrative on Elaine's dress was overboard, but she didn't stop him. (If I had a braid I'd tug it in frustration right now at that "wool headed mule" while pouring honey into my tea, which tasted of... (goes on for 15 pages)) but on the other, she seems to be correcting that now if they're going through all of Book one and at least part of Book 2 in the first season alone. By the time they hit Lord of Chaos they can squeeze 3-4 books into a season easily!
@dannyboy, Rafe Judkins seems like a good guy to do it. Focus on Moraine and Rand's storyline and drop all the side-quests (circus!) etc. he has said he'll slim down at least 3 of the slog books, prob more. It will work out!
They have been releasing little clips of the weapons and art. Hopefully we'll get a trailer before summer! ❤️
I think the stories and the subjects of balance + light vs evil would tickle a lot of people on this forum. ?
ps: although I expect there will be skirt smoothing and braid tugging ?

OMG, I started reading those books shortly after they came out. I remember the first few were good, then they got annoying. I think the last one I read was the prequel, "New Spring".
I've tried to read GoT--- I checked out the first book twice: Once before and once after seeing the show. I couldn't make it through either time, and it is very rare that I don't finish a book I've started. Martin may have a good tale to tell but he is not an engaging teller of said tale, IMO. The show was much better than the book.

Thank you Rachel M. fom sharing them on your program tonight. I picked a good night to watch Rachel.
I've been trying to focus on more positive things lately, here are some things I've been watching that others may enjoy or resonate with:
Gorilla tickling at Grace Center
Tiny baby deer asks people to rescue her
Howard Storm - The Future of the United States (NDE testimony)
This evening I watched for the first time, Jeanne Mayell's video about her visions of the future and this also really resonated with me:
I might try and share more video stuff more often, because I want to help others cope and help find some positivity through hardship in these troubled times. I know this doesn't cure or fix anything, but it might allow you to escape for a moment or two that feeling/thought/situation, and if I can help do that just by sharing things that help me, then I am glad I was able to help.
Lovely suggestions @luminous!
I don't remember if I ever shared this one, but I don't think so. I absolutely adore musicals so this rendering of 2020 made me happy and smile. Hope it will for you to! ?

Thought I'd share this, an interesting animated video for The Grateful Dead classic "Ripple". It was made for the 50th anniversary last year. There is a lot to take in:
