Hello to all my light working friends-
I woke up this morning with this song from Johnny Cash Sooner later cut you down
its a great song-video and whomever visits me in my dreams likes to send me songs
”sooner or later what’s done in the dark will be brought to light”
in case link doesn’t work it’s Johnny Cash -Gods Going to Cut You Down
That's coincidental! We watched a PBS special on Cash last night.
Friend of mine posted this on FB, she's not the author, and I've never heard of this author, however this is beautiful:
blessed are the elderly, and the immunosuppressed
blessed are the fearful, the anxious and irritable
blessed are the ones who use humor to get by
the ones who could use a vacation anyway
the ones who fear for their life
blessed are the ones who are sick of it:
all the flawed logic, the security theater
blessed are the ones who cry out "this is why we need a safety net! a kinder society! a new world!"
blessed are the health care workers, the administrators catching heat for every decision, the messengers with no power over the message
blessed are the sad, and the lonely
blessed are the healthy and the sick,
the well and the unwell
blessed are all of us just trying to do our best
blessed are those who stay kind and clear, who keep our eyes open to each other
blessed is our neighbor
blessed are we all
blessed are we all
blessed are we all

@Laura, thank you for this beautiful prayer. I have so much gratitude for all of those helpers, like the healthcare workers and clergy and all in the helping professions who are risking their health and their families at this time in order to be there for others.
I pulled these out of my videos-that-uplift arsenal. Jeanne originally shared the one from Urban Dance Camp months ago, and I discovered the other one.
These always make me smile.

@deetoo I have no watched that Urban Dance Camp video about 50 times and every time I am so delighted. I love how the other dancers scream with delight at the end and throw their sneakers at them. Thanks for bringing it back! And the original is something I'd never seen before. Wow. So so fine! Thank you. Someone posted a comment under that read:
So touchingly beautiful!
