Love that CDeanne! And I so agree with Jeanne. I feel that if we ramp up our own energy fields, project love, joy, and happiness in our hearts, practice what the Buddhist's call the "inner smile" during mediative or prayer filled states, and be filled with and practice gratitude on a daily basis that 2019/2020 will give us opportunity as well as crisis to tip that tipping point to the changes we need to manifest transformation in the decades ahead.

I am hearing 911/ 9-1-01 which is a way of reminding me that we had the most amazing wake up call to unity after the Twin Towers. Oh, as awful as things seemed, we had true love and patriotism and purpose in our hearts in so many good ways. And boy, did that feel like the force fields opened up!

So, if the force field is still open, then lets see that as a positive whether we're "traveling out or helpers are traveling in" and see it at least as a meeting point for potential change.

Speaking of Cindy's dove and CDeanne's message that a force field is open right now, I've been trying to raise my consciousness to a higher level for the past month.

A sticking point has been my general annoyance at people who support the Donald and the far right GOP.

So I think it is no coincidence that since the Solstice assorted Republican friends have asked me to help them with various care taking issues -- nothing to do with politics.

One actually left a rum cake on my door right before Christmas. Then a  few weeks later called me for a small favor, which I was happy to do.

To be clear, like religion, I have not reached the point of being able to discuss politics with people who love  and support Drumpf.  In the past it has been painful and unfruitful for both parties.

But people in need open my heart, regardless of political persuasion.

Since getting closer to these folks, my love and affection has grown for them as individuals.

I also now get it that my general irritation with Republicans seems limited to the ones I don't know.   It's the worst with those I have never met at all!

Hmmm.

Perhaps most of you don't have the issue of feeling irritated or angry at people who support the Donald. But in case you haven't noticed, I have struggled with this (do ya think?).  And it's painful to feel this way.

I've known it's wrong, and dark, but I couldn't stop the way I felt. I'd think of the suffering brought on by Tr**p and his party, and I'd feel angry at people who support the man.

I am thinking. maybe it's time to let go of anger and blame altogether, and turn up the love. Not just in theory. I've always believed that love is the way.  But in practice. I want to feel the love deeply, fervently. I want my heart to open.

Someone said that if you don't see another with eyes of love, then you don't really see them.

Jeanne, I think this is a remarkable reflective post for you to  have written and for us to read. Thank you for sharing your feelings with us all.

4 very Republican  friends I have known for years  are on social media.   They all tend  to repost  ridiculous things that can be proven false with minimal effort.  They don't make the effort to check facts.  It has been difficult to see their angry, uneducated posts.  These friends and I have worked on many different volunteer projects over the years.  They are all fully involved and responsible individuals who give a great deal of their time and talents to wonderful causes.  They also can't stand Obama and generally support Trump.  They are very "pro USA" and Christian Right..  While we don't really socialize together we still work together through  our volunteer organizations.  We know each other's families well and our children.

I appreciate their kindness and giving spirit.

I find it bizarre the opposite holds true for their political beliefs and and many social viewpoints.

How can there be such disconnect?

Underneath it all we do have a common respect for each other.  When discussed, we tread very lightly on political issues and mostly discuss our kids, families and what we have been up too.

I am still walking a fine line of what I should or shouldn't say to them when I see/hear  something from them which is disturbing  (at least for now). I think I need to still know that underneath all the cr*p and discord which has been happening in the world, we can still find a positive connection with others who have very different perspective on life.

It is frustrating at times but I hope worth it .

There are others who happen to be in my life  however where this  energy and time is best not served right now.  I am grateful I recognize this and have acted in a different manner.
