I re-registered again yesterday to make sure I have the correct link. @coyote is wondering if using the one from last time will work or should he also do that for tonight?
Thanks!
@jeanne-mayell, thank you for last night's meditation. It was quite powerful and exactly what I needed.
I loved the second poem you read. Would you mind posting it when you get a chance?
Â
Â
@jeanne-mayell. Thank you for a beautiful meditation last night. I enjoyed it so much. It centered me, grounded me, and rejuvenated me, reminding me of what is important. Today was the first day in a few weeks, where I've gotten through the whole day and now am feeling ok. During the day, I wasn't consumed by all the bad news in the media and swept up in the text message conversations going on among friends. The other thing I realized about the meditation last night is how much I was craving live conversation and interaction with other people. Seeing everyone on video chat made such a huge difference. Truly, thank you for your kindness, for your teaching, and for simply sharing yourself and your time. I feel you are creating so many beautiful things.
Thinking of everyone and sending light, warmth, and kindness. - Mamaly.
@deetoo: The poem is called The Celebration by Mary Oliver. The whole poem is delightful and here is my favorite line:Â
believe us, they say, it is a serious thing
just to be alive on this fresh morning in the broken world.
Due to copyright laws, I have removed the poem from my post.

This is so beautiful. To me this reads like a prayer of hope. Thank you, dear Jeanne! Â
@deetoo I love those lines and made a poster out of them year's back with a photo of my son and nephew kayaking one morning.
Hi Everyone -Â
This is my first post and the most important thing I want to say is how warm and loving the energy I pick up from this forum.Â
Seriously, it's all about the greater good and I don't know about you but that feels like warm comfort for the spirit.
Yes, there are mind bongling things happening right now but something tells me not to panic...Only to prepare...But we will be good.
My hope is that I can share in the incredibly uplifting vibes :)
One thing I like to do is to get into a meditative pose and burn some white sage. The sage grounds me instantly and provides comfort. When I experience that, it helps me to feel so much more connected to the earth and everything around. It's very comforting.
@Coyote, the fact of your birth was a gift to all of us—and to everyone else whose lives you'll touch. We're with you spirit today, raising "the sacred fires" and directing our light toward you as you step into the next stage of your journey.Â
May it bring new lessons, new stories, new wisdom, new life.Â
You are loved.
Happy birthday, dear one. ?
I've been thinking about you today and your birthday ceremony. Â Somehow I can picture you going about these rituals that you have created to mark this day and time in your life. Â Not only is your day filled with purpose, but your life is as well. Â We are so lucky to have you in our midst and I am wishing you a wonderful birthday. Â I hope you can sense all the good thoughts and love coming your way. Â Much love to you, Coyote.

Poem for tonight: Pandemic
Pandemic
What if you thought of it
as the Jews consider the Sabbath—
the most sacred of times?
Cease from travel.
Cease from buying and selling.
Give up, just for now,
on trying to make the world
different than it is.
Sing. Pray. Touch only those
to whom you commit your life.
Center down.
Â
And when your body has become still,
reach out with your heart.
Know that we are connected
in ways that are terrifying and beautiful.
(You could hardly deny it now.)
Know that our lives
are in one another’s hands.
(Surely, that has come clear.)
Do not reach out your hands.
Reach out your heart.
Reach out your words.
Reach out all the tendrils
of compassion that move, invisibly,
where we cannot touch.
Â
Promise this world your love–
for better or for worse,
in sickness and in health,
so long as we all shall live.

Circle of Light Meeting (free) is ON for tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) Night as usual - 5:30 pm PT; 6:30 pm MT; 7:30 pm CT; Â 8 pm EDT. Â
Please re-register each week. Â Once we finish this series (through May 6), I will set it up so you don't have to re-register each week or sign up for Zoom (free). Â Those are security measures.Â
Last week was the most powerful of all - We sent healing to loved ones and to special groups, to people in ICU, to all of the animals on this earth, and we set intentions for our own lives. When we sent healing to people in ICU, it was particularly powerful.
Read about it and sign up here - it is free.

Hi Community. Â Having problems with Zoom bandwidth. Â I pay for stronger Zoom service but five people lost service last Wednesday so I am not sure Zoom has the bandwidth to handle their new popularity. I will be not be holding the Circle of Light online meeting for next Wednesday while I work with Zoom or find an alternative. Â If you know of an alternative you have tried, let me know. Thanks, Jeanne
Â
It's probably no better, but have you looked into Google Hangouts?
