But yes we are evolving, and have been all along. To people who think the "good old days" were better, I always say all you have to do is look at the way women and children were treated to see one big example of the evolution.

I really picked up on Archangel Raphael ... of course the poignant image that you found was Michael the great warrior with his sword and shield, tho in this painting he also looks like Raphael somewhat.... I had a past life experience with Michael that was one of the strongest to emerge when I was doing alot of work on the clearing of all those shadows many moons ago. Memory of being a Knight in the Crusades and being struck down, lay bleeding in the snow (don't know where that was lols) when Michael raised me up and saved my life.
You were all so blessed at this Circle ... I was there with you in Spirit even tho not in the 3D....

This thread mutated and merged with others just as so many others have. I remain fascinated by that process even though my need for indexing the order of sequential and connective events in understanding ourselves and others is strong.
Loved the way you all carried my post on winter solstice coming up with its particularly unusual facets and brought it to the religious martyrs fascinating. I would also like to pursue that in my forum thread on "Spirituality and Religion" as there is so much to these topics here and the purpose of evolutionary and spiritual growth through pain, loss, and challenges there.
