How do our situation and our predictions line up with astrology?

Four days before the 2016 election I saw in a vision Pluto the god of the underworld appear amidst visions of great turmoil and fighting.  The message was clear: Pluto was coming into power and would remain in charge for many years .  At the time I thought he'd be plaguing us with his darkness until 2025 to 2028 when I felt our world would transition towards a matriarchal Age of Enlightenment.

Later someone told me the dates fit Pluto  transits.  I’m not an astrologer but am interested in how it fits our world.

I also felt a powerful influence back in 2014 when the Americas had four blood moons in a row, every six months — spanning two years.  I was really spooked by the foreboding of the first blood moon and wrote a few articles on this site about them.  Again not an astrologer but feeling the power of the celestial bodies that circle around us.

Any thoughts about the Pluto issue or any astrological issue?  Shall I open a separate whole section on astrology?  Vestralux, you mentioned you might have some thoughts about astrology and predictions?

Want to also mention the Kali Yuga astrological cycle.

I made a prediction several years ago about things getting increasingly dark in this country until around 2025 to 2028, when we'd switch from a patriarchal to a matriarchal society.

A community member who lives in India  (his alias is Asian) wrote to me that my prediction fit an Aurvedic astrological cycle called the Kali Yuga.  He said it is part of  a 12,000 year cycle that actually shifts from the darkest of patriarchal rule to the beginning of matriarchal rule around 2025.

Thanks, Jeanne! You move fast.  ?

Ah, yes, Pluto, the Great Transformer (and in evolutionary astrology, the signifier of your Soul in your natal chart).

Currently, Pluto and Saturn are transiting the sign of Capricorn, where they're overthrowing broken institutions of power, law, and (in)justice, and shaking up the collective shadow so that it must be faced in order to be healed.

Venus has been retrograde in Scorpio (sexual tension/intense feelings of life and death) since October 5 (date of Kavanaugh's confirmation), but she goes direct again in Libra (relationship to others, service to humanity) on November 16th. We should all feel some of the energetic tension release a bit then.

That said, on the same day—November 16th—Mercury goes retrograde in Sagittarius for about 10 days. Best not to sign contracts or onto new projects during that spell if you can help it. There's likely to be a little confusion in the air related to voter returns, which may not be wrapped up until the shadow period for Mercury Retrograde has passed (toward the end of December).

But good news! Jupiter moves into his own sign of Sagittarius on November 9th, where he'll remain for just over a year. And Jupiter in Sag is a mover, a shaker, and a luck-bringer (especially if you're a Sagittarius Ascendant or Sun sign).

What's important for many of us to know here is that Jupiter has been in Scorpio these previous 13 months, where he was doing what Jupiter does—expanding the energy of that sign (psychic investigation, deep sexual truths, life and death transformation) and thereby shedding light on hidden secrets. Because the sign was Scorpio, those secrets were related to the mistreatment of the vulnerable by the powerful, especially the sexual mistreatment of women by men (but other forms were highlighted).

Now that Jupiter is moving into Sagittarius, the sign of higher truths and truth-telling, we can bet that many more of these hidden secrets will be revealed in the next 13 months. Don't be surprised if shocking first-person reports by multiple accusers are printed, or if powerful individuals are directly named in sex trafficking rings.

Next week's New Moon in Scorpio occurs on November 7th, the day following Midterm elections. The New Moon is a time for planting seeds of intention and since New Moon rituals are often done on the eve of the New Moon, election day is a perfect opportunity for making a sacred act out of a civil duty. Turn your vote into an enacted prayer for the nation.  ❤️

This is awesome.  Thank you.  Let's keep this going. I need to read it over a few times to integrate it and hope to get more acquainted with it. This morning I saw the sign of Jupiter flashing in my mind's eye while giving someone a reading. I wondered about its significance.  I know it's the sign of good luck.

I love that you saw Jupiter! He's my guy (but then, I'm a double Sag).

Although I'm not especially versed in seraphic mythology, I've heard that Jupiter's energy corresponds to the Archangel Michael. It's expansive, magnanimous, optimistic, extroverted, purpose-driven, intellectually curious. (Saturn corresponds with Archangel Metatron, and so on.) Not sure whether this sheds any further light on what you were seeing today, beyond the predictive element about the upcoming year, but thought I'd throw it in there just in case.

I could write 8,000 words alone on the planetary and asteroid transits that are coming just in November and I'm an amateur astrologer. There's a lot occurring around energetic cycles and shifts, and while I agree that we still have dark days ahead and much to process in that regard, Jupiter rules my sun and my ascendant, so I can't help but believe it's all for the good in the end.

I'm glad that you're into the stars.  ?

Would love to know more about the astrological influences in November.

Also interested to know what Drump will be facing astrologically speaking.   Can astrology show when someone’s downfall is mostly likely to occur?  :-) hmmm?

I just know the basics about astrology, not like Vestralux, that clearly is an expert compared to me. Then, astrology is the sort of subject you could devote a lifetime to, and still not know all there is to know about it. I'll contribute my two pence, anyway:

Pluto moves very slowly, so the influence of Pluto in particular Zodiac signs is said to mark whole generations or periods of history. Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 and will stay there till January 2024. Capricorn is generally considered a sign that brings headwinds and makes things progress slower than usual, and certainly plenty of things have slowed down and gone wrong since 2008, and we probably should expect things to be rather less than perfect till 2024.

Blood moons are actually relatively common - most years have one or two. It depends on the year. Blood moons are visible in roughly half the planet each time there is one, and it can happen that a particular place gets more than their usual share of blood moons for a while. This is usually seen as a bad omen, but my understanding is that it also depends of the positions of the planets and other astrological considerations. In the case of the blood moons over America in 2014, the consensus was that they were significant.

Somebody copied a rather interesting astrological reading from a Serbian astrologer in the thread "The end of Trump's presidency" a while ago. I just bumped it since Jeanne is interested in that. According to that, the trigger for impeachment happened just a short while ago. It's possible that it's happened but nothing has been made public yet. If that's true, we'll probably know about it after the elections.

Jessica Adams has some interesting astrological insights for the midterm elections here, with some Tarot thrown in as well:

https://www.jessicaadams.com/2018/10/08/astrology-predictions-for-2018-midterm-elections/

Personally, I think that there is a very very neat wedge this November with Mars, Venus and Uranus. Wedges are common and normally not thought of as a very big deal, but this one gets particularly accurate. Does anybody else think it may be significant?

Yes! So many incredible influences in November. I'll share some that I'm aware of below.

As for Trump, wow. His actual time of birth is actually reported (assuming it's correct), so a great deal has been assessed about his interior constellations—pun intended—and his progressive chart is forever being forecasted against upcoming transits and scheduled events. But he's a beast of a subject, so I'm just going to stick with November for now. It's fascinating enough.

November Themes:

Numerologically, 2018 is an 11 year. (2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 11) In Pythagorean numerology, 11 isn't reduced further down to 2 because it's considered a master number. So, this year, November—the 11th month—falls in an 11 year, which makes it highly spiritually significant. It's all about transformation. 11 + 11 sums to 22, which represents the Master Builder. That means that November 2018 represents remastering and rebuilding. The date 11/11/11 (since it occurs in the 11 year) sums to 33, which represents the Master of Compassion, so the rebuilding that we do will be in the theme of unity and communion.

Dates of Significance:

11/6 – Uranus, the planet of liberation, change, and rebellion—sometimes called the "breaker of chains" and the "great awakener"— moves back into fiery Aries. Uranus is explosive and demands that we wake up or pay the consequences. He'd previously moved into earthy Taurus back in May, around the same time that Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano erupted (just one example astrologers point to).

Aries is a bit like the Ace of Wands; it's about new beginnings. And 11/6 is the date of the Midterm elections in the U.S., so we can be sure that Uranus will be catalyzing revolutionary change. For some, this will occur in the form of a painful wake up call.

Still another enormous evolutionary shift will occur on 11/6 as the transiting Lunar Nodes are slated to shift signs.

The last time this occurred was May 9, 2017. On that day President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, setting off a Special Counsel's investigation and the placement of Robert Mueller at its head.

So, when we all wake up to head to the polls in the U.S., the Lunar Nodes—which represent what we need to release (South Node) and what we must now begin to integrate (North Node)—will shift out of Leo/Aquarius and into Cancer/Capricorn.

Our new Lunar Axis in Cancer/Capricorn is about security, and represents the dichotomy between our past emphasis on material security by way of traditional (i.e., patriarchal) values—as represented by Capricorn in the South Node—versus emotional security represented by the rising feminine—the elevation of women, children, nurturance, the body, the blessings of home, and our planet.

This new axis isn't about throwing out the masculine or making it subservient to the feminine. It's about creating an alignment between the dual drives of autonomy (masculine) and communion (feminine).

We're being asked to recognize that we've gone as far in the direction of individuality and personhood as we can go. We've exhausted what it has to teach us and it's lead us to the pain of separation. Now, it's time to bring higher capacities online through collective convergence and shared awakening.

How cool, because on...

11/7 – the day after Midterms, the New Moon in 16-degrees of Scorpio trines with Neptune and creates a harmonious sextile to transformative Pluto. This aspect is about progressive change. It suggests that we'll see movement toward progressive unity.

11/8 – Jupiter packs his bags and steps into his own sign, Sagittarius, where he lights up the domain of Truth and Justice. As I said in an earlier post, in the last 13 months he's been shining a light on our collective shadows, particularly those related to sexual coercion, manipulation, and violence. In the year ahead, he'll be bringing those themes further into light so they can be integrated by the collective. (If there's a theme surrounding this period of time we're all walking through, I'd say that's it about the need for the collective integration of trauma.)

11/9 – Venus and Mars form a harmonious trine. This is an important touching of palms between the higher feminine and higher masculine; there's deeper communion occurring. But...

11/15 – Fiery Mars leaves airy Aquarius where he's been for some time and heads into the watery realm of Pisces. Now, Neptune rules Pisces and when we enter his waters with the mask of the false self, he rewards us with illusion, delusion, and confusion. I've heard some astrologers say that Mars goes limp in Pisces (i.e., his fire is tamped out by Neptune's waters), but I disagree. My feeling is that Mars is only challenged there—but Mars is the archetypal warrior; he's up for any challenge. Give him a little while to get his bearings and he'll eventually get cooking. Mars will work up Neptune's waters to a boil, creating clarifying steam.

So, my sense is that for a period following the election, there will likely be confusion. As Mars struggles to find his bearings, we'll all feel the chaos of Neptune's illusion-weaving. There'll be an up-and-down feeling—choppy waters. It could go a couple of ways. There may initially be good news for Dems and progressives causing the far-right to revolt. In this scenario, the propaganda machine will rev into high gear and those in power will do everything they can (think Bush v. Gore 2.0) to suppress or overturn results. However it goes, much of the news media (and the population, as a result) will likely be churning from distortion, perhaps even until the end of December.

Whatever the case, Mars in Pisces is a message that we STAY PRESENT AND CONNECTED. We are space holders. There may be murkiness, distortion, and confusion in the collective field, but we are light-bringers. Our work is to hold clarity and coherence until the waves calm.

11/16 – Venus goes direct in 26-degrees Libra.

11/16 –  Mercury goes retrograde in 14-degrees Sagittarius.

     Both mentioned in previous post.

11/22 – The Sun moves into Sagittarius. Shining a light on Truth and Justice. Look for big news here (likely even before this date) from the Mueller investigation. Large breaking stories and deep reporting are also likely to come to light.

Especially because...

11/23 – Full Moon in Gemini, which will square Mars in Pisces.

This full moon, with its light shed entirely by the sun in Sagittarius (Truth), will be all about the unraveling of lies. Incidentally, Trump's natal sun is in Gemini and his moon is in Sagittarius—a diametrical axis! (Our sun and moon signs can show up all over a chart; his just happen to be directly opposite...)

I'd say that November is going to be just as intense as October, but even more revolutionary in a positive direction. We need only remember that, regardless what we see reported.

Hold your anchor in the light, and don't let the waves topple you. They too shall pass.

Posting my reply to Stargazer's post from another thread:

You said, "Vestralux... I can see you in 15th c. Italy, surrounded by much embellishment and wealth, tho very ahead of your time and celibrated. Also another lifetime, an ancient one as a Viking stands out."

I've been obsessed with Viking mythology and lore for decades, so I love hearing your thoughts there.

My North Node (plus Mercury and my Ascendant) are in Scorpio in my 12th house, placing my South Node in Taurus in the 6th. Last week I had a powerful reading done by Dr. Victoria Scerbo (recommend!), an Evolutionary/esoteric Astrologer, and she confirmed something I already felt and needed to hear another say aloud.

On this particular planet, my other lives have been spent working tirelessly, usually in some form of service, and often I've done so in proximity to the very wealthy but I've always lived in poverty myself. I believe that in the 15th century, I may have volunteered for poverty when I took up life in the Church. I faithfully believed and longed to help reform the Catholic church from within, so as a young man, I began writing and eventually speaking on the cause, but was finally imprisoned and executed for my efforts.

That wasn't the only lifetime in which I was persecuted for my writings, teachings, and beliefs, so in this particular lifetime, there's a desire to remain anonymous. I can never stop doing the work, though. Not even when I try.

Anyway, the first thing Dr. Vicki said about my South Node was, "You never had enough to eat." These words broke me open. In the 15th century, I was starved over many months while in prison before finally being bound by a rope and dragged into the streets where I believe I was burned alive. (A lot has come up in this lifetime around fire, and protection from fire.)

But, too, I was born into poverty in this lifetime, into a family with a lot of trauma, addiction, and mental illness. There was never enough to eat. My memories of hunger as a child are searing. I'm fortunate not to have problems related to eating, but I can become extremely anxious when I think there may not be enough food in the house. People remark on how full the cabinets are to the point that it's a little embarrassing. They always feel empty to me.

Most people might think that a South Node in Taurus suggests that a person has been wealthy and privileged in past lives, or at the very least, that they've conquered the Venusian energetics of the traditional 2nd house—security, possessions, finances, etc. But I don't believe this has ever been the case for me in any lifetime in this dimension. (I'm aware of Chiron's beautiful alchemical role here, and we're working on it.)

As for your kind words about me writing my own manuscripts, thank you. I have a lot going on in the 12th house, like I said, which means I need a lot of privacy. I'm alternately fearful or turned off by the idea of any kind of public attention. The teacher archetype is a big part of my inner architecture, but I don't relish the idea of public speaking (despite not actually being shy). It satisfies me just to create.

Dr. Vicki did suggest the same thing you did, though, that this will all change for me and I'll be writing and teaching my own work in another ten years. If it's going to happen, it's going to have to be a minute. That's all I know.

I'm familiar with Barbara Hand Clow only because I'm reading Dr. Carl Calleman's, The Nine Waves of Creation: Quantum Physics, Holographic Evolution, and the Destiny of Humanity, as research for a book I'm working on. She wrote the forward. I take it as a huge compliment that you would place me in her company simply by comparison.  ?

Thank you for indulging me all of this. It moves my spirit, really. Now I have to ask about your Sag/Virgo square. And do you work as an astrologer? Also, do you recall any of your other lives? Do share!

ETA: I feel sure it's obvious, but I'm a woman in this life—happily feminine. I say this because I mentioned being a man in another time.

Thank you for sharing this Vestralux.....

Often I pick up on past lives empathically from someone as an impression, not so much a distinct vision but I sort of 'feel' the visual. It only seems to work with those that are spiritually open, and while I have been a lifelong student of astrology I don't do charts professionally, (just for friends or those who are interested).

It's an amazing tool isn't it, and as someone else said here, one could study it for a veritable lifetime and always learn something new... as above, so below ;-)... knowing our true inner selves is the quest and the highest reward in this healing journey if ours.

When I got the impression of your Italian Renaissance life, I saw a lot of sumptuous gold leaf, maybe a library where the books were worth their weight in gold as at that time only the very wealthy could afford rare volumes. Yes, you were a progressive thinker and a humble (tho zealous radical genius?) and into astronomy as well....

As an ancient Viking... it's interesting that you mentioned fire above... I saw you as a woman with long blonde hair wearing furs, and your bare arms seemed to be covered in smeared soot as if you were desperately trying to save people from a fire. This could have been from a burned ship, or village, ?... you felt responsible for many lives.

So perhaps these two lifetimes are still really resonating with you in the present? Usually I just perceive that spontaneous flash, so can't really elaborate too much... you can meditate on it and hoping that more detail will show up? Chiron in your natal chart is a wonderful key to this too... 'the place that needs to be healed and the place that heals'...... the Great Centaur..... (love Chiron! :-)

When I study a natal chart (our soul's karmic blueprint), the first thing I look at is the Dragon, the head (North Node), and the tail (South Node). Then the second most important element (to me anyway) is the most elevated planet near the MC.....

Your moon conjunct the MC in Virgo (is it trine the SN btw?) would impart that deep need for purity and privacy, dedicated humility in service to deeper understanding and represents the core from which the rest of the planets in your chart leaf out. 'The High Priestess' you are Vestralux, and a very inspiring soul with all of those beautiful Jupiterian talents!

My own journey with Chiron has been a long one, and I can't believe what I've survived in retrospect. Sometimes I feel that this is my last time around and that's why my life has been so intense, but maybe just wishful analysis...lol. My nodes are (NN) Aries/ (SN)Libra-conjunct Mercury/Neptune, with Uranus r. in the 11th house as the most elevated planet. Hence my affinity for astrology throughout many lifetimes... Uranus by transit has conjuncted every planet in my natal chart so far, so yeah, alot of karmic 'burnoff', and with Sag Venus conjunct Chiron in the fourth house- squaring my Virgo Saturn in the first..... it's been 'challenging', lol.

I love that you see the Alchemy in this Vestralux.... our souls' journey into the mystic, the transformation into pure golden light and love.
