Awww....thank you!  It's such a warm place to spend time.  I read a book a long time ago that said  spelling PegEsus with an E instead of the A made it better from a numerology perspective.  I just liked how it looked so that's why I spell it that way!  And any "extra" positive attributes are always welcome!

It seems to me that some of these posts should perhaps be moved to Revolving Lounge....just a thought. :-)

@tgraf66 Yes, all egg-appreciation comments have now been moved to the Revolving Lounge, per your excellent suggestion.

Hi Community,

I had closed this thread because my birthday passed but @lovendures said I should leave it open another week in case anyone still wanted to comment. So it’s open again.

I re-read your beautiful comments about the forum and this community and again I want to thank you for saying what you said here.  It means much more than you know — every single comment from each and everyone one of you moved me to tears.

Both you who are new,  like @Pegasus, and you oldies but goodies like @Cindy for whom I have such a deep respect, and  @baba and well all of you.

I have struggled over the years over two unfinished books I have drafted but not completed. I have beaten myself up about it. But when I reread this thread tonight, I thought of the final scene in Mr Holland’s Opus. He was the music teacher who was never able to finish his opus. Then his old students showed up one day to honor him and said, Mr Holland, WE are your opus.

Well if making it possible for this beautiful community to come together during these rough times is something I’ve done, then I am very proud of that, even if I know it was the work of a higher power.

I have struggled over the years over two unfinished books I have drafted but not completed. I have beaten myself up about it. But when I reread this thread tonight, I thought of the final scene in Mr Holland’s Opus. He was the music teacher who was never able to finish his opus, a classical symphony. Then his old students showed up one day to honor him and said, Mr Holland, WE are your opus.

Well if making it possible for this beautiful community to come together during these rough times is something I’ve done, then I am very proud of that, even if I know it was the work of a higher power.

Thank you, @vestralux and also @lovendures, @deetoo, and @Kristin, our steel magnolias.

?

Thank for putting out a last call Jeanne!

So very happy we had a chance to reflect back on the impact you have made in our lives and then actually articulate our thoughts to you.
Imagine  if we all did this from time to time for the people in our “other” world we live in.

@jeanne-mayell  I think so many of us beat ourselves up for not meeting some fixed expectation when our true legacy is right in front of our eyes. I so very much agree that this home you've created for us is your opus. You're our landing strip, Jeanne. I am so thankful every single day for the miracle of you.
